The tech repair person solved a problem that I had for several years which none of the other techs had never cleaned since I've owned this product. I had a clogged defroster cup which was causing my refrigerator and freezer from working properly. Items would not get cold and the freezer didn't freeze good. Ice cream never stayed hard and usually got too soft to mess with. I also developed a rust problem on the back wall which I mentioned to the service reps. but was told not to worry about it and latter on we don't cover rust. I feel if they would have serviced the refrigerator right and checked the defroster cup and cleaned it like they were suppose to I wouldn't have this rust problem to start with. So I truly believe do to their ignorance of not doing a complete service check caused this rust problem which now I have to live with. I've been with sears since the early 80's with a cap plan which I renew every year and I expect a complete maintenance check up when they are here and I'm starting to notice some short cuts that are being taken just move on to the next job. So I guess I'll have to remind them to be a little more thorough when their here. The technician ( ID 0001776 ) was the one who solved this long standing problem for me. Thank goodness you have one knowledgeable person who really understands his job. Just a little too late to solve my rust problem.
I have a repair contract on all of my appliances.. Recently I had a problem with the microwave and parts were not readily available. My tech special ordered them for delivery to my home. When they arrived, I called the tech and the repair was scheduled for the next day. I have had my dishwasher repaired recently by the same technician and it now works like a new appliance.
