DON'T use this guy unless you want to give your house away. I gave him recent listings that sold in our neighborhood, one was right across the street and he commented that it was out of the subjects value range. Make sure you use Robert Gautreaux instead. Don't waste your money.

Unless you plan on giving away your home do not use this appraiser.

I mistakenly listened to my broker and chose this appraiser for my relocation.

He used inferior comps and even said so on his appraisal. He then appraised my home almost 30,000 lower than comps and similar homes listed/selling within a mile from my home and in my own neighborhood.

This low ball appraisal caused me to have to relist way under original listing due to relocation policy. That meant a huge loss, selling for substantially less than I paid for the home, not to mentionlosing approximately 7,000 in upgrades added while I lived in the home.

To add insult to injury an identical home just up the street sold for approximately my original listing price making the pain much worse than it already was.

Be aware, if you plan on taking a loss use him, if not find a relocation appraiser that will FAIRLY appraise your home and accept if he made an error.
