I used to come to this McDonald's as a kid and enjoy the second-floor games and, of course, the food. Having worked at McDonald's for 3 years a good 10 years ago and having friends who have as well, I always come to love knowing just how operations work. Recently, I took my family to this McDonald's for lunch. I was amazed when I asked for a bit of hot water for my son's (8-months old) bottle and was told that it would cost 50 cents, even after I told the cashier that I just needed a small bit. Aside from being harassed by the cashier to pay a little more for a larger fry (which I kindly declined 3 times), there were no napkins in the restaurant (you have to ask for them) and you get the feeling that they look at you and think $$! Now I know all McD's operate to make $$, it is logical, but when it is at this level, the words 'cheapskate' and 'annoying' come to mind.

Once in a while, my 3 year old will clamor for some chicken nuggets from McDonald's. I usually take him to this place for his cravings. It has a big parking lot. You order on the first floor. You can eat on the few tables on the first floor, but the second floor is better. The second floor has big glass windows that look out on Northern Blvd. It's not a view of the city skyline, but it beats looking at wallpaper. The second floor has an air hockey table and some video games for kids, but there is no playground (you know, the climb through tubes type you find at other McD's). Actually, having no playground is a plus for me, since my son's not tempted to play when I am ready to leave. Of course, the food is the same as in other McD's.
