This is my new favorite restaurant! I read the reviews on another site, and we decided to try it out... Niles is my absolute favorite part of town, so any excuse to drag the hubs along through some antique shops is right up my alley! Right when we got there, with our 4 year old in tow, we were shown to the small waiting area, offered water, and Max was given some WikiStix to play with (much better than crayons! Attention restaurant people!) We waited maybe 15 minutes, and stared at every plate of food that passed by while we waited. We ordered the Sweet Potato Tots, which come with bacon aioli (BACON!) and were completely amazing. I had the Vine Burger, which was fab, and had grilled tomato, which was a nice touch. I got fries, which were OK, but wished I'd gotten more tots. Kiddo had a gorgeous grilled cheese sandwich, and hubs had a steak with was simple but excellently prepared, so he was happy. The sangria here is fantastic, and I can't wait to go back and sit on their newly completed patio out back! Their motto is "Fine food, not fine dining" and they're totally spot on. Delicious food in a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. A win in my book!

Hey there, Since The Market Broiler (MB) relocated, we have visited their new place three times. We loved the atmosphere at the new sight, and it is very clean and well decorated. As always, our foods were excellent and the service was on target. All good restaurants are a bit noisy, and that is to be expected. Everyone who goes to the MB is there to have a great time and enjoy their meal. We do not enjoy real quite restaurants. We went to the old MB on Farwell Drive for many years, and this is a nice up-to-date change. As for the person who commented prior to me (way back in August 2010), we are sorry she did not have a pleasant experience. We would venture to say, at that time; they were still pulling the new sight together. Sometimes you just have to be patient when a restaurant relocates. Thanks and we hope you enjoy your visit to the MB, Bill and Loretta Sylvia Fremont, CA 94538
I grew up in Fremont/Newark California and let's just say there are two staples when it comes to these two small towns...Dino's Diner and COUNTRY WAY. Growing up I always got their french toast platter...which is TO DIE FOR!! But as I got older my taste buds developed a liking for the Linguisa Sandwich and the Linguisa Omellette. There is no place like this anywhere. And I now live in lowly idaho where I have never even seen the likes of Linguisa on any menu...so if you are in the area don't take this place for granted...it's the best home-style cooking you'll ever have and the old home-e feel is the best in the world.... Happy Eating, Hungry Idahoan :(
