The Winn Dixie on Coursey has very friendly and helpful employees. I don't care if you ask the stockers or the people at the register, you always get help lightning fast. At the "self-serve register" Gwen is always ready to help me through my checkout if I should run into a problem. She's right "there" on the spot. The carts are brand new and roll like as a cloud on a breezy day. They even have half size carts for those of us who pick up just a few items and don't necessarily need a huge cart to push around. The deli serves great! I'm picking up Baby-back ribs today which are served heated or not. All I will need to do is zap some backed potatoes and make a salad and I'm done for tonight's meal. Oh, the ribs are just $12 compared to $19 at most good rib houses a la TJ. So it a Win Winn situation. Thanks WD!!!!!!!!!!
Winn Dixie is a wonderful store with outstanding foods, products, and services. My family will not consume any meat products unless it comes from Winn Dixie. Your store offers seasonal changes in foods which is a great help to those who cook with specific ingredients during a specific season without running all over town looking for a particular item. Such as fruitcake mix during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. Winn Dixie's bakery, deli, and meat departments, are outstanding and the best I have found in the area. The store is always clean and well stocked, and workers are helpful and courteous. Sometimes there are not enough cashiers on duty and the wait is a little longer than usual. However, overall I rate Winn Dixie a 5 star grocery and I would not shop anywhere but "WINN DIXIE."
The size of the crawfish is still on the small size but there were some big ones in the batch. They were great tasting and well seasoned. At lunch time the guy in the meat department let me taste them and I had to come back after work to get some. The lady in the meat department did a great job boiling that batch, they were even better. I bought 10 pounds and so did my co-worker. Loved them.
