Just because they wanted to hold your down payment doesn't mean it is a scam. Gerry Lane did the same with me, and when I wasn't approved they gave my money back. Some dealers will hold your down payment as they are trying to approve you.are like that, even the main top dealers. I say this because I purchased a car from Auto say yes, and it is doing fine so far. Another thing according to your income and credit there are certain cars that you might not be eligible for, so it is best to let the dealer advise you of what kind of car you can purchase. Back to Gerry Lane, I wanted a 2012 car, but I wasn't eligible for it, so they told me I will have to get a pre-owned or a co-signer, because of my income and my credit the banks would not approve me (I make enough, but it has to be a certain amount for the lenders to approve you). I didn't want a pre-owned, so they gave my money back. The same thing at Auto Yes, so I finally got a pre-owned. Anotehr thing you guys must remember when purchasing a used car it is best to get it serviced for everything, because the cars haven't been driven or used in a while. You also must asked for the CarFax report.
John Leo. Your payment was due at DADS. You called and asked if you could pay it the next day. We said OK. The next day you didn't pay or call. And the next day, and the next day. You didn't return any of our phone messages. We tracked your vehicle and shut it down. We get a call from a dealership, asking for your pay-off. You NEVER called us to communicate that you were trying to trade in OUR vehicle. Because you didn't return our calls, I text you stating that the vehicle was about to be repossessed, and that on top of the note, the late fee and a $300.00 REPO fee, it may keep you from trading it in. That was not a threat as you suggested, it was a fact. That's when we had to get it back to DADS. Because of your lack of communication you consider us the bad guys?? I don't know about all the bad reviews, but my experience was exceptional. Michael Corsentino made promised to me before the sale of the truck I bought. Everything he promised was taken care of. This included replacing a broken motorized mirror on the truck which was out of pocket for him. A noise I heard was serviced and cleared up. I was and am fully satisfied with the Corsentino family business. I was very pleased with my salesman, Shane. I found Mr. Michael to be a man of his word. The finance man went out of his way to get the lowest possible interest for my loan. I do plan on returning to get my son a vehicle in just a few months. The prices on the vehicles are reasonable and my vehicle was priced $2,000.00 below the Kelly Blue Book value. I have and will recommend this dealer to my friends. Give them a try. I was so worn out from the numerous dealerships we had already had been to in the last couple of months, but my husband insisted. Stopping was the best thing we could have ever done. The guys there were beyond professional and very personable people. They were straight forward with us about what they were able to achieve, and honored every agreement they made pertaining to their warranty and our vehicle. I needed to add that this car lot was able to give me a decent trade in even after I went to three other Dealer ships that wouldn't even consider a fair trade due to cosmetic issues Patrick and Rodney treated my family with respect and help us with the two Vehicles I talked about earlier. Picked up a 2004 Toyota Tacoma from these guys for my 16yr. old. Vehicle paint was in excellent condition considering it had 100K+ miles on it. The guys in their detail shop use an excellent three stage wax/polish that makes all their cars look great. Transaction was a breeze – they were very accommodating and were able to take care of a few small things on the vehicle before I picked it up. Had an issue with two of the brand new tires and they put two more brand new tires on it for me @ N/C – good customer service – something you don’t see every day. I would tell my best friend to definitely try this place out. On Feb 21, 2012, my car started making noise under the hood. Noise was so bad that I was not even sure I would make it to the dealership. The next morning I called tthe service department and the gentleman in charge CAME out to my home. He made some temporary repairs to get to the service area and an hour later, 'Bubba' had me on my way. No problems since then. I am holding out on the other star because I am waiting on some items that were suppose to been order weeks ago. But, overall, service was good. This is the 2nd car that I have brought from them (no major issues with the 1st one). Plan on trading up with them in the future.
I highly recommend Acadian Car Supercenter if your to buy a car. thanks to Michael and Jacque who went far beyond what expected them to do for me . The bank declined my loan after I drove off the lot, was out of town in Iowa ,learning this news , they told not worry about a thing ,they would make sure that it would all work out. still a little doubtful ,but they keep there word and did everything they promised and more .So today because of Acadian I am driving the same car I drove off in three months ago, So if your not sure where to buy a car from due to past issues , look no further , ACADIAN USED CAR SUPERCENTER, Thank you ,David York
2011 BMW 328 had rear bumper damage and needed to be replaced. Got estimate in about 30 min. Bumper was ordered and I was called 3 days later when it arrived and was told 2 to 3 days required after I drop off car. Took car in picked up rental on site and 3 days later car was returned and looked like new. While they had bumper paint they touched up a door scratch for no charge. Top notch professionals starting with customer service lady at front desk. If they can repair a quirky BMW they can fix anything. PS insurance paid this and my USAA and other drivers State Farm were both 5 star handling the claim.
