I have been to the Baton Rouge store twice in the passed two months. The first time I went was a Saturday after I had the worst morning of my life ever at Pearls Place in New Orleans. I absolutely had NO appointment. I knew they were busy and I waited with my cousin who brought me for an hour and a half. When I finally did get someone she was the most attentive person I could have dreamed of. I think her name was Carolynn, can't remember exactly and I feel terrible I don't. She was extremely patient with me and helped me in and out of every dress. If they DIDN'T have a dress shown in the catalog she would pull a dress of the exact same style and have me try it on. I went back again for my second visit with most of my bridesmaids and the girl that had helped me the first time came in that day, on her off day, and helped me and my bridesmaids try on dress. They have such patience with me and I return that favor. My last visit was at the store in Orlando on May 18, 2013, to show my mother the dresses I was interested in. I had an appointment for 12 but had to wait a few minutes because they were insanely busy. If you don't take the initiative to walk up and talk to someone how are they to know who you are and what you are there for? So I walked up to the counter and asked someone and they told me they had a few workers call out for the day and would have me set up with someone as soon as they could. I waited about 20 minutes but that was fine for me because I understand that these are human beings too! Not robots there just to put dresses on me and cater to me alone. Patience and a good attitude gets a long way and maybe some customers should have one when they go in, instead of throwing a fit because the workers there didn't bow down to you. Your bad mood/attitude rubs off on other people even if you yourself do not realize it. I had three wonderful experiences, yes I had to wait, but I know what I want so I don't mind. I intend on purchasing my dress from here and my bridesmaid dresses. I can't say too much about alterations because I haven't gotten mine yet. Will review again when I do.
Shopping for my wedding gown at Blush was every girl’s dream when it comes to shopping for the perfect wedding dress. The boutique feels lavish, with a beautiful dressing area and white and ivory gowns lining the walls and racks. After talking with the owners, Samantha and Anna, about the details I was looking for, they easily navigated their large selection to choose several gowns that met my requests. After trying on over 20 or so gowns and a lot of going back and forth, I finally decided on the one. They were very patient and responded to all my calls and questions promptly. Once my Allure Couture gown and accessories arrived at the boutique, the tailoring was beautifully done. Their mother has an alteration store, Tailoring by Tinh, one door over. The ease of the tailor coming right to you and making all the changes and requests made the process so much easier. The finished dress was exactly as I had envisioned, with a perfect fit to my petite figure. I also purchased my Andrew Adele bridesmaids dresses through Blush. Their wedding and bridesmaid’s dresses are affordable and reasonably priced. They also have a big selection of flower girl and cocktail dresses available. My bridesmaids complimented on the ease of shopping, selection and the wonderful customer service. Samantha and Anna were knowledgeable, friendly, personable and flexible to work with. I would highly recommend other brides to check them out for their bridal attire.
This place was and is AMAZING. We had great service from the moment we walked in the door. There was someone to help me as I described what I had in mind for my gown and she never left my side. They helped me get into every dress, gave me different veils to try on with each dress, and they gave me shoes to try on with the dresses. They took each dress and hung them up so I did not have to. My mom and sister just sat back and watched as I walked out of the dressing room in each dress. The seamstress is amazing also. She was able to do alterations quickly and it looked as if every dress was made individually for my bridesmaids. My first experience with Gabrielle's was as a birdesmaid and I knew that I wanted to use them for my wedding because if the exceptional service. I have recommended this shop to all of my friends and family and my sister will be using them for her upcoming wedding. I have been to multiple other shops in Baton Rouge and nothing compares to Gabrielle's!
