My husband and I were having a special night out to make plans for the renewal of our wedding vows and we wanted a nice place to go and we picked Sunny’s. Huge mistake the service was horrible, we had to ask several time for our drinks, the bread and dinner salads came before our drinks did. We had ordered NY strip steak med rare and a lobster tail. The steak came back very rare and they took it back to the kitchen and returned it still very rare, I do not think the cook even tried to cook it because it was cold. I sent it back and they brought it back very very well done, like beef jerky. I tried to add A1 steak sauce but it tasted like old grease. By this time my husband finished his meal. I never received my lobster tail and requested it be removed from the bill, the waitress blamed me for not reminding her that I had a lobster tail. If you have a special occasion planned DO NOT go there. Horrible food, horrible service and a very indifferent staff.

First time I went there I had chicken French. It wasn't horrible but I've definitely had better. The second time they had no host so I stood by the door for at least five minutes. After I finally got a seat the waitress was so rude that I walked out and will never go back. After telling friends my experience, it seemed everyone had a story to tell about this restaurant having bad service.

Having eaten at Sunny's hundreds of times since 1994, I've seen it decrease in quality. New owners did not fare well and apparently lost a great cook staff, and have had difficulty maintaining a good kitchen staff. Choices are same as has been over the past 2 years. Some plates had to be returned to the kitchen, something I am loath to do. Not enough attention paid to what goes on the plate. Bar patrons make enough noise to drown out table conversations.
