I LOVE consignment shops but all too often they are more like thrift stores. NOT EAST COAST CONSIGNMENT!! From the moment Dorothy Baum, the owner, opened this little treasure last spring, it was obvious she had a great eye for value and uniqueness! Tucked in a quaint little corner, (directly across from Moustache Bill's and close to the lighthouse,) the friendly atmosphere is as inviting as it gets and there's ALWAYS a good bargain to be had whether it be clothing and accessories, jewelry, housewares or antique furniture. Dorothy displays local artwork and also sells an incredibly clever game called KABBITZ which was created, patented and marketed by her husband and herself! In the age of Walmarts and Targets, unusual little places like East Coast Consignment are rare and, in this case, full of surprises!! The summer may be over but this little gem will be open through Christmas!.
