Established in 1981, Maine Mental Health Connections serves individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. The agency offers vocational training and behavioral care services, as well as personal growth opportunities for adults. It provides transitional programs for individuals aged 18 and above and diagnosed with mental health conditions. Maine Mental Health Connections offers employment services in custodial and maintenance fields. In, addition, the agency operates more than ten temporary housing units. Its Together Place Social Club offers a variety of social and recreational activities to enhance self-reliance and problem solving skills.
