Wildwood Gardens

I will start by saying you get what you pay for. My husband and I moved here in a rush because we were desperate. I wont disgust you with pictures! But we look forward to our move next year.

Pros: Very Quiet area. Lots of stuff to do locally and relatively safe for children to play at the playground. Its Cheap!!! We got it at $760 and the rent just went up to $785.

Cons: PESTS AND ROACHES!!!!!!! Our move in day, less than 2 hours in our unit we had a roach infestation. As in hundreds!!! They were on the walls the doors, cabinets, and all of our clothes. Mind you we were unpacking so they were all over the food in the cabinets and ceilings. It was so bad we didn't sleep there for almost 2 weeks. I sent emails and pictures to corporate and that helped with the fixing of things in a quick manner. The company pest control is trash because they came to our unit on a weekly basis and the only improvement we got was from personal bombing!!! MICE!!! THERE ARE SO MANY MICE! We have been here almost a year and a half and we alone have killed at least 12 in our personal unit. Pest control didn't help much there. The management team tries but not hard enough to fix the situations in my opinion. We have filled every hole we can find in our unit and it was at least 30 small holes. Think of every single corner in a room or closet and then AC units are on the floor so the holes are there as well. This was the worst part. Mice crawling in my children beds on the counter and pooping on the table where they eat. Now there were many maintenance issues. Toilet needed fixing twice, ceiling falling in due to leaks from the unit above. We had a giant hole in our unit for almost 2 weeks because they dragged their feet with getting it fixed. There are RATS!! ALL OVER THE PLACE AT NIGHT! So coming home from the night job was always a case of Russian roulette with your life. The Pipes are always backed up so the tub is gross every now and then when you shower.

I have been living at wildwood gardens apartment for 3 years and literally, its the worst apartment complex ever... I wouldnt refer them to a homeless person, if they were giving the apartments out for free!!! They are very unprofessional and nonchalant about doing their work. I had mold in my apartment for months until i had to call the health department and the complex recieved a citation... They rushed to fix it then.. I had a broken window for two weeks. i called the rental office, corporate and even wrote them a letter, when they finally came to fix it, they act like i was the issue. I never got a apology for having to live on a relatives couch for 2 weeks until they felt like fixing it. The entry doors for the apartment doesnt work until this day. I've even have experiences where random drunk people was banging on my door. The hall way light is always out. I leave out for work at 6am, before the sun even thinks about coming out. A guy was just sitting in the hall way just chilling. WTF.... This place is the worst ever now i know why the rent is sooo cheap. Im getting the hell out of here as soon as i finish school this year... Ugh wish me luck
