Visited the PLACE last night on the advise of Darker Than Blue Restaurant. It's downtown location is near major attractions. The atmosphere was right the moment I walked in. Yes it's grown and sexy, safe and many varieties of adult beverages. The music rocks from DC house to banging R&B. Can't wait to return.

The Place is a nice spot to just chill with grown folk and just enjoy the atmosphere. There isnt a lot of "non-sense" going on. The crowd is just right. I am glad it has a 30 year limit for admittance.

people there are understanding of the rule that are laid out, everyone gets alone with each other. Parties are off the hook, food just wonderful. DJ music keeps you jumping, parking is available. The owner, well she adapts to everyone. I reconmend it to everyone visit.

A nice place to chill
The Place is a lounge where working professionals can go after work to have a beverage. The patrons are all middle class folks with good hearts and a need to just get away to just chill. The music is R&B with a flavor of hip hop. The owners are really cool and receptive people that are willing to welcome you into there humble establishment. The decor can be best described as modern contemporary. The Place is a nice "place" to enjoy a laid back evening.
