After a boat ride on a hot afternoon, a group of us wanted a good meal and cool place to relax. Having never been in the area we thought we would try Timothy's, which looked decent.
1. After sitting down we had to change tables because the one they put us at was 'broken' so our groups could not sit together. Oh yah, there was little to no air conditioning after coming in on a scorching hot day - so much for comfort!
2. Salad came right away, food did not arrive for a long time after (ie a good 30 to 40 minutes later) so those of us that had salads were lucky, everyone else had to suffer.
3. Our bill was supposed to be split up and was done incorrectly so we had to wait an extra half hour for them to fix the bill.
4. I received a call from one of the other parties Sunday afternoon letting me know her credit card had been charged 4 TIMES and to check mine in case. Mine of course was charged twice with two completely different amounts. I called Monday afternoon and spoke to a manager who told me to wait to see if the charge would 'go away'. Are you KIDDING ME! Needless to say I faxed over my receipt and the charge amounts from my CC bill and asked him to take care of it immediately.
I rarely write reviews so for me to take the time to sign up for this service and complete the review shows how disgusted I was. Hopefully if you decide to try the restaurant, your experience is better than ours!
