The service counter at the Canton Safeway should be called the service-less counter. You could stand there forever while staff pass you by and even go behind the counter to retrieve things, all the while completely ignoring you. When you finally do get someone to acknowledge your presence, they are rude and usually too busy speaking with other employees to understand what you are there for in the first place. I am continually disappointed by the lack of customer service from what I would otherwise consider a finely run store. I am happy to complain about this store to anyone who looks my way and am looking for another place to spend my money.
