Overall

I've been to chiropractors before but I never could have prepared myself for my first visit to Living Wellness. I was expecting your typical doctor's office with closed doors and a waiting room. I never would have thought I would be sitting across from patients getting adjusted and the sight of the traction machines (which I initially described as a torture chamber in my mind) seemed silly and embarrassing. BUT after my first few visits I realized, that is just what you do here and it was great to talk with other patients and over hear their questions and answers-it sometimes got you thinking of things you've never thought of. And while my back pain was minimal I noticed a change over the next several weeks and I also realized that I did not mind coming almost every day (including Saturday mornings) with my 30 minute commute. The staff are so friendly and dedicated to giving you as personalized a treatment as they can!

I came to Dr. Lauren because I had severe stiffness in my neck. This would be very painful when I wake up in the mornings. Since I started coming to Living Wellness, the pain has decreased! I feel much better when I get up in the mornings! Thanks Dr. Lauren!

Living Wellness Chiropractic helped me so much. I began my treatment with headaches and neck pain. The doctors fixed my spine with adjustments and traction and now I am pain free, stand up straight and can sleep the entire night without pain. Everyone should go to Living Wellness Chiropractic if they have problems with their spine. The staff is really nice, everyone is always smiling, and their administrative team is spot on and makes it worry free for anyone dealing with insurance since they take care of it all.

I"ve never been to a doctors office with staff as great as Living Wellness. I was treated there initially over 10 years ago. The staff are always courteous and efficient. I've been back over the years for either routine maintenance care or when my back or neck has given me trouble. The care has always been top notch and effective. I've seen several different doctors at the clinic over the years and all have been great. This is a great place for anyone looking for a chiropractor or physical therapy-- especially someone new to chiropractic because everything is explained so that you fully understand your health condition and also what they propose with regard to treatment. I'd never go to any other chiropractor in Baltimore! Thanks Living Wellness for the many years of great care!!

This operation is a bait and switch on billing and a shyster operation trying to bilk people. I've been going to chiropractors for over 20 years and never encountered the things that occurred here. Just from a general perspective, the initial visit is crazy...the insane paperwork they make you fill out, the stupid videos they want you to watch and the pamphlet reviews they want you to do....all before being carted off by a person who then makes you recite it all again... she took me in the back room and asked how my neck pain 'affected my day'.. I said, as written on the forms, that I got migraines... she then went into this whole thing trying to get me to tell her "all the exact and specific ways it affected my daily activity and work", "does it make you less focused,....etc, endlessly" then "exactly how extensive is each".... then rate every different kind of migraine and its' effect".... on and on unnecessary crap.. I have migraines, I need my neck cracked every 4 weeks and it helps--- end of story -- all that I need... Oh no... they require xrays, then try to sell you the 5 month 3x week package minimum at the 'follow up ' appointment. Keep in mind I've now spent hours at the initial appointment before even getting a 5 minute crack of my neck. Now I'm back 2 days later(their insistance) for another 45 minute 'review of xrays' - where they try to sell you the complete care. As I said, I've never been through such a crazy mess with any other chiropractor.

Then I had this entire bait and switch with the billing. This is a bait and switch, shyster operation. I called in advance specifically to check that they took my insurance and that they confirmed that I had 100% coverage for chiropractic with no co-pay and no deductible. They ran my insurance information and confirmed this. Then I arrive and spend well over an hour with unnecessary paperwork and "introductory" things. They take xrays that they assure me I won't be billed for in any way but then at the second visit, suddenly I'm told there's a copay for the xrays. They have me pay a copay that I was told I didn't have when I scheduled the appointment. After the appointment I contacted my insurance company and spoke to a representative who assured my my chiropractic is covered 100% and stated that if they were trying to bill it under a 'physical therapy' heading that would trigger the co-pay but that if all I had was chiropractic and that was all I want, they should bill as such and I'd be charged nothing. I then asked again about the copay and told them I had spoken to insurance. I was then speaking to the same woman who had run my insurance while on the phone and assured me that I was fully covered. She then says that they are allowed and do bill as a 'specialist' so all my chiropractic would require a copay. I've never encountered such a bait and switch operation and such lies as I encountered in the entirety of my visits with this chiropractor. Even beyond the billing issues, it was clear that they were trying to set up a system to 'milk' clients-- with excessive and unnecessary practices that I've never been subjected to in 20 years of chiropractic care.

why not?

Who ever said that feeling better was a bad thing. I was skeptical about someone "cracking my back" but that phrase is for uneducated people the spinal manipulation is heavenly. I had the worse back pains and headaches that anyone could imagine and after one treatment i was ready for more. I could move better than before, and considering that I am young in age i felt my age for once. Now I look forward to getting treated and some days you just need it. Life is a big stain on the body and with 3 children, one being a newborn, I do alot of activities and lifting. Why not try something NATURAL that can actually help. Medications made me very ill and effected my organs in my body, now i don't take medication at all. IT's GREAT EVERYONE SHOULD TRY IT. AND THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO IT, YOU CANNOT FIND GENERALLY NICE PEOPLE ANYWHERE, THE STAFF AND DOCTORS ARE VERY NICE. THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY AND ARE REALLY CONCERNED WITH YOUR HEALTH.

Best in Baltimore

I have been a patient with Living Wellness for 4 years, the Staff and Doctors are the very best. I suffered for 25 years with headaches and migraines. I took an untold amount of over the counter as well as prescription medication in an attempt to keep the headaches from affecting my everyday life. I was only covering up the problem. Now, due to the Doctors at Living Wellness I no longer have headaches and no longer have any need to take the medication. The medication I did take made me nausea and gave me stomach problems, now I don't have these to contend with. Life pain free is a wonderful thing and I would highly recommend anyone that has pain if it is back pain, headaches, knee pain, joint pain, arm pain, elbow pain, neck pain, hip pain or any pain check out Chiropractic, It can change your life.
