El Maguey Mexican Restaurant

Since they moved next door to new location, it is wonderful! Nice, fun atmosphere, friendly staff, great service. Good food too!

We liver very close to El Maquey in Manchester, MO. We find it is a great place to stop off at afterwork for an adult beverage and some very tasty food. The Marqueritas are exceptional and theri happy hours are great. This place is always packed and that makes it a fun place to go. Great to meet a bunch of friends there and the prices are very reasonable. Wait staff is always helpful and freindly and I've never left there hungry.

Our family have been regular customers of the El Maguey chain of resturants since they started out years ago and was in the area on a cold day in December 2009 and stopped in for some Caldo de Polo, Chicken Soup. The place was upscale as to the tables, chairs, artwork, etc..... like another Mexican resturant that closed down in another part of town. Anyway, when we got the salsa roho, it tasted like the way they made it back when we 1st found El Maguey and when they brought out the Soup, the bowels were the ones they used at the other El Maguey's, Large, White, simple bowels, filled with all the stuff it's made it unique. After the 1st taste, we knew where the Chefs went we were so used to in the past. It was great!! Now, we have to make the trip at least once every three weeks or less, just to eat here and we're from Florissant!!

I hope the other El Maguey's read this and go back to the flavors that made El Maguey what they are in St. Louis.

We've been at this El Maguey on Saturday afternoons for at least 3 times since we 1st came in December and we're going out again today.

This isn't a over-priced type of resturant, at least not for the west county area, but the flavors, atmosphere are there. Take it from one of the Mexican lovin' people, you won't go wrong dining here!!

I ordered the fajitas and got a very good portion. They were very good, too. The cheese dip and salsa was also quite tasty. The atmosphere was fun and colorful. The service was great. I would recommend any day!

Been here a few times. Service is always sub par.



On our last visit, we waited over an hour for a table. Finally, they pointed out the table they were prepping, but then a waiter gave the table to his friends that had just walked in.



Complained the the host and to the manager. They did nothing.



We will never go back.
