        VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital has been providing compassionate, comprehensive, and skilled veterinary care for small and large animals in the Kern County area since 1923, and is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We also offer boarding and grooming. Accommodations at our state of the art boarding facility include pampered boarding, large indoor runs, kennels, Luxury Suites, cleaning and ventilation systems, and non-slip flooring. Dogs are walked three times a day in our numerous, spacious and landscaped, enclosed areas. Cats are housed in a separate area, away from barking dogs, to reduce stress. Our cattery features individual kennels or the option to upgrade to a luxury suite with space to relax, eat and play.
