Avon Animal & Bird Hospital is a very professional, competent and compassionate veterinary practice. My Standard Schnauzer Otto has been in their care for the past 9 years, since he was a pup, and they have been nothing but caring, exhibiting a premier level of expertise. Dr. Anita Poling is his customary vet. She knows him and his tendencies as well as your family doctor knows yours. Otto has also seen Dr. Jennifer Olive and Dr. Pukonen on occasion. Both are excellent vets as well.

We will be getting a new Standard Schnauzer pup in September and he/she will be taken to this practice for their care. I cannot think of anyone else I would trust my dogs to. They do God's work.

I've been taking my pets to Dr Putkonen since I was a child must be 40 yrs now. I've had huge bills there too but vet bills are. I do have to say I've had nothing but good experiences at the clinic very professional and what's weird is I have a dog who wants to go!!!!

Awful. Don't recommend. Dr. Jenifer olive was rude condescending and unprofessional. Overpriced. Uncaring.

Don't go there they will kill your pet! I will never ever go to this place for care for my pet. We took our puppy to Dr. Jennifer Olive and she was the most uncaring doctor that I have ever met! She did not do anything to help our pet and she could have died. She wouldn't care for her at all and suggested we take her back to the breeder and use our guarantee! She is the worst and she shouldn't have a license to practice. I have read that she is a good vet for cats but I would say then stick to them and don't work on dogs because she is terrible. Terrible service, terrible attitudes but go to Northview Animal Clinic and they are the best caring vets around. They helped her regardless of what she said because she was all for the money! I wanted my money back but of course the other Dr. Martti said she followed everything that she was suppose to do and wouldn't refund our money. They will have a lawsuit coming shortly because Dr. Olive would have killed my pet if we didn't take her to the other vet immediately. She would be gone now! I would think twice about going there regardless of what people say otherwise.

I have been a client since the early 90's and have taken many of my pets to them. Spent way too much money, and recently I had to pups that were vomiting and had diarea and they tested them both for PARVO the tst came back negative and they sent me home with medicine but when It came time for me to pay the bill I was shocked that it was 318.00 for 15 minutes of there time. My credit card has a block of only 200.00 a day and they would not let me take the medicine with me they asked for half of it back. so upset.. 2 days later I had to take the pups to the emergency hospital and they both tested positive for PARVO.. Within an hour one pup passed away and I took the other one to Dr. Woods clinic. thewy only took 150.00 deposite and they tried to save my sweet little puppy but she also passed away! I feel that this clinic cares more about the money than my sick pups and they cost them there lives.. 8 weeks old is to young to die!!
