I understand that we need more bilingual speaking workers nowadays but when you can't speak English in an English speaking country how in the world can you get a job??? But I can't get one if I can't speak Spanish?? Everything is backwards now! Maybe 10 of the employees in this establishment speak English most don't understand what I'm saying, it's ridiculous!!! I will no longer shop here it's one thing to give someone a job but if you can't even understand the language in the country you are working in then you should be learning the language at least or don't work
I was up from Chicago area and my daughter ran out of milk and we went to Groppi's. I was instantly charmed and transported back to my early years in Battle Creek, Michigan where I use to go to our corner grocery. If you enjoy childhood memories of "penny candy", kind chatty shop keepers, hardwood floors, cleanliness and "old world charm", then take a moment to visit this grocery. Thank you John and Anne Nehring for keeping this neighborhood treasure open!
This place is truly amazing. There are a hundred reasons why Whole Foods is great, from their great food bars to their wine by the glass, but my favourite is their lamb. Lamb is one of my favourite meats but finding it was pain staking and expensive. They have the best selection I have found and since then shop there for almost every food item. You will love their variety!
