I recently went through a detailed process to select a hot tub manufacturer and dealer. As part of the process I spent considerable time and effort reviewing various resources on line. I read and was impressed by a number of entries written by Bill Meyer, the owner of Premiere Hot Tubs in Austin, Texas. Although I live in Savannah, Georgia and thus wouldn't be buying a hot tub in Austin, I decided to call Bill for his views and advice. Over the course of three weeks Bill and I had at least 15 email and telephone exchanges. Bill knew that I did not represent a "sale" to him, but nonetheless gave me the same level of service that he would have had I been a local customer. Bill's observations and analysis were critical in my hot tub selection process. I would recommend that anyone in the Austin area who is considering the purchase of a hot tub contact Bill. Given the level of service that he provided to me as a non-customer living in Savannah I would imagine that a customer in Austin would receive the very best in product and service.
We bought a bullfrog hot tub from Premier, in Austin Texas, about a year ago. It is a big expense, and I am an unusually cheap and non-materialistic guy, but I am really happy that we did it. I have back problems, and the tub works as well as a half hour of yoga. I especially appreciated the straight forward and low pressure sales approach, and have appreciated Premier's help (with routine maintenance, the tub has been entirely trouble free) since we bought the tub. We went to a bunch of places before Premier, and were entirely turned off by the fast talking sales people, especially those eager to bad mouth competing products. I use the tub any night that it is even mildly cool, it is one of the very few things that I own that has genuinely improved my life. If you are interested in getting a tub (and if you have back problems, I strongly recommend it), then you cannot do better than Premier.
