We were having a pool party this past weekend for our daughters 13th birthday. I was having a hard time trying to get the pool cleaned up so my wife desired to call someone out to help. We saw the recent reviews for Benson's Pools and Spas and decided to give them a call. Our Experience: We called on Tuesday morning and explained my situation. Jason was understanding and came out that night around 8:30. He gave us a very reasonable price and started the work Wednesday morning. He did leave to take care of other jobs he had and Ben came out Wednesday after noon to finish up the cleaning. Pool was full Friday morning and they both came out and balanced the chemicals. Jason explained about the filter and how it not being cleaned was causing poor circulation and caused our pool to go green. Also there was another chemical in the water that couldn't be removed that was not allowing the chlorine to do it's job. The party went great, though the water was a little cold. I couldn't recommend Jason enough. Highly knowledgeable and very polite. Two traits I've found hard to come across when it comes to pool guys.
I requested a service call from Pool & Spa because the motor on my hot tub kept causing the breaker to flip. I was told that it would be after Christmas (I called on December 17th) before someone could come check it out - which was fine. It is an old motor and I was prepared to be told that I needed a new one. Robby called on December 21 and came 1 hour after he called. He was professional and courteous. He found a bad connection and the motor started working again! He said that he could replace the motor but the one I had still had some life in it. I was so relieved - especially so close to Christmas. He was finished in less than an hour and good to go. I will gladly call them when I really do need a new motor. It was great that he was honest and did his best to keep the cost to me as low as possible. How refreshing! I would recommend that anyone needing service to call them.
I love these guys but the number here is not right but luckly the lady who answered the phone had their number. I will contact Jason to let him know. I was having issues with my breakers turning off every other day. They came out the same day and found the problem in just a few minutes. I had a short on my circuit board and instead of selling me a new one Ben was able to put a new part on it. It's been two weeks now and the spa still has not shut the breaker off. I will be using them in the future.
