I've driven past this store located in a small strip mall many times, and finally decided to stop in. The sales staff were really nice and helpful! They carry all the major brands most quilters or fabric lovers would want, including all the Bella solids, Kona, and a huge variety of printed fabrics. There prices are equivalent to what you'd pay online, and they offer a good rewards program! They also had wool felt in stock, which I've been searching for for a while! They also have precut fat quarters of many of the fabrics they carry, I think most cost $3...if not they'll gladly cut you a quarter off any of their many bolts! The best part is not standing in the ridiculously long fabric cutting lines at the chain stores! They also carry sewing notions, Moda charm packs/precuts, and many other sewing related items! I'll definitely be coming in here on a regular basis!
This a GREAT quilt shop. I was visiting from Dallas area and the owner was the one who cut my fabric and helped sort through several baskets of fat quarters looking for exactly what I wanted. She has great taste and a keen eye and found several more. The fabric selection was like a dessert bar with no calories. Yum!! There was a selection of new designers and Kaffee Fassett as well as a luscious selection of batiks. Here is the short version: Selection: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Location: required a bit of hunting. It is inside of rectangle. Look for the sign outside the correct "corridor". Shop: roomy, great lighting, easy to get around. Well stocked but not so crowded you feel claustrophobic. Well worth a detour if you are in the area!!
The shop is very nice, the 2 people I met were friendly and very nice. They are were as helpful as most quilt shops are. I found the selection to be mostly average. I found a few fabrics that were in the "gotta have" category but there just wasn't all that much to make me want to come back. If I lived nearby I would shop there, but since I'm from out of town I can't say I would go back unless I had a lot of time on my hands.
