Went to their ER at 5:30 AM for a bladder infection. First time at this hospital and was very happily surprised at the amazing staff from checkin to checkout. Very attentive and caring. Would definitely go back.

My wife dropped a glass and cu...

My wife dropped a glass and cut her hand badly on a broken shard. We went to the emergency room at Seton SW for treatment. When she was processed in, she explained how she hurt herself. Apparently, the admitting staff didn't believe her. No, they figured they had a serious case of spousal abuse, i.e., that I'd stabbed her and that she was covering for me. In the course of treatment, she was asked to explain --- again and again -- what happened to her. The piece de resistance came when the surgeon who stitched her up asked me, pointedly, if I remembered the lyrics to the Kingston Trio's "Tom Dooley."

When I got home, I looked them up: "Hang down your head, Tom Dooley, hang down your head and cry, hang down your head, Tom Dooley, poor boy, you're gonna die ... I met her on the mountain, there I took her life, I met her on the mountain, and stabbed her with my knife ..." Needless to say, I was deeply offended at this joker's insinuation, and I hope we never have to make another emergency trip to Seton SW.

Forget being treated like an a...

Forget being treated like an actual person at this establishment, you will always be patient X of the day. You can expect to wait anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour for your scheduled appointment, which leaves no time to discuss anything while actually in your office visit.

Also plan to wait on hold at least 20 minutes anytime you have to call their office for ANY issue. You will eventually be prompted to leave a message which will be "returned in four hours"...rarely the case that they actually call back at all. There is a "user friendly" on-line patient portal set up to ask questions and expedite requests. Of the ten questions/requests made on-line while a patient of Dr. Schneider, a total of ZERO received a response.

You will have to pay for any and all paperwork needed throughout your pregnancy. I waited three weeks for a response to my FMLA paperwork, only to find out that they somehow lost the paperwork in that time and needed me to resubmit my request, which still cost the $35 fee. There is no way to submit FMLA requests without their help, but it will NEVER be a priority to them.

They may seem open-minded about your birth plan, but that will only be up until your plan goes off track of what their plan is. I was very upfront with Dr. Schneider about my wishes to deliver naturally. At week 38 she mentioned the risks of not inducing soon, such as "stillbirth" and "miscarriage." I began my own research after leaving her office feeling bullied about my choices. At my week 39 visit I presented her with MY findings only to have her act as though we never had the conversation the week before about needing to induce. She treated me like I had made the entire conversation up, and for the FIRST time in 39 weeks, made time to actually address my questions and concerns...all too little too late.

I made the decision to leave their practice and go with a midwife for my delivery. That is when they became vindictive and completely refused to work with me. I made a payment in week 29 for their services through postpartum which I needed to be turned into my insurance for processing, of course expecting reimbursement for the services not rendered. As of today I have still not received verification that this has been handled.

Completely unprofessional, seek ANY other provider!
