        good food

        Got a cesar salad and a slice of cheese. The salad is simple and delicious, and the slice is huge! Overall great food.

        OK pizza but better service

        My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out last night, since Homeslice was going to be yet another half hour wait. When we got there, we were the only customers, and when we left, there was only one other guy eating. There's not too much in the way of ambiance, but you can tell that they've tried to spruce things up Austin style with some funky painted tables.



        The service was nice, but far from "full service." Anytime we had to speak to an employee or they spoke to us, it was over a counter. Even though we were the only customers in there, they yelled my name out (even though it's a tiny restaurant) each time our food was ready so that we could pick it up from the counter. For a $25 pizza and salad on a slow night, I'd think they could go the extra mile and bring it to our table. When I asked for a to-go box, the guy gave me a used box, so I just grabbed a new one myself.



        We ordered the small caesar salad and a medium Margherita pizza with pepperoni and ground beef. The salad was huge for $4 and tasted pretty good. It was drowning in dressing, but it was still pretty good. The croutons tasted very crispy and fresh too. The pizza was OK, but it was nothing to write home about. If you like a VERY CRUNCHY crust, then this is the place for you. I love crunchy, but I think they do use cornmeal in their crust which makes it kind of stone-like. There was plenty of pepperoni on the pizza, but the ground beef was very sparse and in small, black crumbs. It looked strange.
