I am a Licensed Professional Counselor servicing clients in the Downtown/East Austin area. I specialize in issues of relational dynamics, trauma/abuse, anxiety/depression, identity, and spirituality. I provide counseling services for individuals, couples, and also specialize in parenting. Our work together will entail addressing your present day concerns, while exploring the context of your family of origin, early childhood, and interpersonal dynamics. As a relational therapist, I believe healing occurs in the context of relationship. My task is to form an alliance with you that allows you to explore the nature of your struggles. Most issues that are brought into therapy have a past, present, & future component. Early childhood relationships shape and form our social and internal worlds. We will consider your family of origin & attachment patterns. We will explore your present-day challenges and your style of relating. Ultimately, you desire change and a different outlook on the future. We will consider what gives you meaning and consider your life trajectory.
