I went into Pigment because my best friend told me that it was way nicer than any other tattoo shop. I said sure it, but then he was like ""No seriously dude, it is way nicer than anything else you have ever seen."" So I went in to check it out and holy crap. Pigment is not a tattoo parlor, it is the only true tattoo studio that I have ever seen. They have a huge art gallery that has a bunch of paintings from painters that don't do tattoos. So I was really surprised because I found a painting that my mom would like. It had nothing to do with tattoos so I bought it for her for christmas. Then I booked an appointment to get a tattoo with jeremy. When I went back in for my appointment jeremy had an awesome drawing for me and the tattoo came out better than I had ever imagined. HE even asked me to go to the Austin tattoo convention in January so that I could enter my tattoo in the tattoo contest.
With a tattoo studio like Pigment in town I can't understand how anyone would ever go anywhere else.
Pigment is the only tattoo shop in Austin that I would want to get ink at because of how clean it is. I've been around a long long time and I've never seen a shop as put together as Pigment. Jeremy and T.J. are really cool guys who have the talent to back up what they say. Can't wait for the renovation. Keep up the good work guys.

I am a tattoo artist from college station and I came to Austin to get a tattoo from Jeremy because he is the best color artist I have ever seen! Everybody at my shop wants to get work from him. He is seriously one of the best in the business and his shop is really nice and clean. It is definitely a high end place so if you want quality, look no further.
first i went into the shop and noticed the cleanliness of the shop as well as how well groomed the gentlemen were. there was no profane language and had the appearance of high standards in safety and caring for customers.
second i brought in a small tattoo i wanted to put on my foot and jeramy not only listend to me, he offered input and together we came up with the perfect tattoo that i wanted, great quality and he really knows his combination of colors and designs.
his workers were very pleasant and made me feel like friends instead of just a customer...its like a high quality shop that wont give into anything negetive. they make you feel like your important not just for the money but for your satisfaction and desires... i will return and highly recommend that if you want a tattoo, go here and
you will come out with the best you can get anywhere...infact your whole time there will be comfortable and restfull because you dont have to worry about them making a mistake, reason being they take TIME WITH YOU to make sure your going to have the very tatto you wanted and invisioned in your mind...since you are going to
wear this all your life you want it correct....Pigment will meet your expectations and more.............

I went into Pigment about a year ago to get a tiny tattoo on my shoulder and they advised me to get it bigger because according to them it would look good at first but then look bad in the long run. Well I got pissed because I wanted it small and thought they just wanted more money. So I left and went to another tattoo shop close by, but I wont mention what shop it was. The guy at that shop didn't hesitate. He said it would be fine and did the tattoo and it looked awesome. But then after about 3 months I started noticing that it was getting kinda blurry. Then a couple of months after that I saw some pictures of me at a party and I was so sad because my tattoo looked unrecognizable. Within six months it just turned into a blurry jumbled up mess. So I went back to Pigment to give them a second chance and I realized that they actually cared about what my tattoo looked like over the rest of my life. THey explained that they did not want to just stick me with a quick tattoo and take my money, but they wanted me to have a lifelong piece of art that I would always love. Jeremy ended up doing a cover up on the tattoo and hid the old tattoo completely. 5 weeks ago I actually went to a tattoo convention and I actually won an award for my tattoo. Out of over 100 other tattoo artists at the tatoo convention mine was the best and won an award. That other crappy shop did not have one single award or magazine publication. The guys at pigment are the best in Austin and that is all there is to it. So many people make the same mistake I did and settle for a crappy tattoo because they just don't know what can really be done, but I highly suggest you check out pigment.
I am a tattoo collector with over 15 tattoos. I have been to tattoo parlors all over the country and Pigment is one of the best I have been to. Jeremy did my first tattoo in the parlor and then I returned for a tattoo from T.J. They both do amazing work and are way more friendly than any other studio. The business itself is clean, friendly, and professional and they have a more upscale outlook on the way a tattoo parlor should be run. They really seem to care about giving the best tattoos rather than just pushing you out the door after getting your money. I will be back to Pigment for all of my tattoos
