Founded in 1876, Pease Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in Texas. Its staff includes a principal, child care worker, custodian, manager, librarian, counselor, attendance clerk and secretary. The school operates a parent-teacher association. It has a cafeteria and library, as well as operates a band club. The school also has a student council and provides opportunities for students to participate in Invent Austin, Coats for Kids and Science Fair competitions. Located in Austin, Texas, Pease Elementary School is operated by the Austin Independent School District. The district provides a variety of food items for its schools that includes milk, fruit cocktail, margarine, burgers, sandwiches, french fries, salads and fruits.
