Overall

Have you ever been to a restaurant and received the worst service ever that left you with a new determination to never ever return and warn as many people of their terrible service. Similarly I am going to warn you about this. So a while back I went to Olive Garden with a large group of friends expecting a good time I left not with a satisfied belly but anger fueling my veins. I would expect Olive Garden to give wonderful service and most times I have but this case was so much different. I do not know why, there were two waitresses for the ten people in my group. They came hastily took our order left never to be seen again we managed to catch one that was passing by trying to explain that my order was wrong! She came back and brought me "my order" by bringing dried pieces of chicken that tasted like cardboard. I really did not want to make a scene so I ate what I could force down my throat then called the manager and told her how unsatisfied I was. I spoke to a woman who apologized many times begged us to come back with promise of a gift card. I thought well maybe they are going to make it up to me. Guess what never received said gift card. Let it be known I will never go there again. Don't want to see that ridiculous restaurant any more. If they at least promise to make it up to you they should. Also it was a table full of Hispanics perhaps the waitresses were racist or have had bad experiences with Hispanics however it is their job to provide us with customers service if they fail to do that why are they working there in the first place?

My experience summed up, terrible service, cardboard chicken, possibly racist waitresses, and a lying manager.

LOVE IT

I've been going to Olive Garden for my birthday almost every year since I was thirteen-years-old, and not once have I been disappointed by the service or food. In the past two months I've gone to this location three different times and each time the service was good and the food was great. The GM Catherine Horn and the Manager Yenitt Flynn were living examples and their hearts for people are truly beautiful. What Olive Garden did during Veteran's day is beyond amazing and as I took my father out they were beyond welcoming to us both.

Mediocre

The overall menu is less than impressive, while the service is decent. However, they are overpriced for the quality of their food and lack originality in their menu. On a positive note I will say that their salad is appetizing but not much else is worth making a trip for.

Avoid at all costs, Waiters and Managers don't care about the patrons

A group of six from work (our whole accounting staff), was seated within 15 minutes (OK for Friday lunch). A waiter came over within 5 min and took our orders. After 15+ minutes, my meal was brought before the soup. The the soups (main course for the others) were brought for everyone. After we finished, the waiter was absent for a long time. One of our party finally tracked him down and got the check. We wrote on the check, whose CC was to pay for which meals, and then one of us explained the CC to the waiter at the register. When we finally got the CC slips to sign, the waiter had put all the bills on one CC, even though he had five CCs in his hand - truly a unique solution! On leaving (1.5 hours after getting there, due to late service and poor delivery on food and bill, the manager asked how the experience went. We explained exactly how the experience went - very poorly and that we were very unsatisfied. The manager said he was very sorry and that he would immediately send some free meal coupons in the mail to me as an apology in good faith - I gave him my business card to ensure he had the correct address. It's been four weeks and absolutely nothing from Olive Garden. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you are want to get some good food with really bad service for a premium price. The wait staff and the manager doesn't care about their customers.

Che Male!

It's not italian food. It's what someone from Wyoming would consider to be italian food. Being raised by and italian mother (with real italian food) I was completely insulted. The food is terrible and completely wrong. It's the Disneyfication of italian culture. You enter the restaurant and you experience a theme park view of an entire country. \r
The service is always bad.

How do you say ""no good"" in Italian?

My boyfriend and I had a craving for Italian. So Olive Garden was the obvious choice. I mean the breadsticks are good. And that's about all they have going for them. The food was no less than generic. I mean, honestly, you really can get this in any freezer section of your local grocery store. It wasn't that it tasted bad, it was just very predictable. But like someone said, what did I expect? It's a chain. The most surprising thing was that service was horrible. While I appreciate prompt service, our waiter was basically pushing us out the door. I was literally not even done taking my third bite of food when he asked if he could box up my left overs. I checked the time, we had not been eating for more than 10 minutes when he brought out the boxes. He brought out our check a couple of minutes later and as soon as my boyfriend placed his card inside he yanked it off our table. Brought it back and as soon as the receipt was signed, yanked it off the table again. We agreed to never return. As a chain, I'd assume that at least they'd train the staff to be courteous. And while everyone was pleasant, it was very fake pleasantry and they all seemed annoyed with our presence. I do not recommend it to anyone. Unless you like crappy service and so-so food.

""Italian""?

This has got to be the worst Italian food I have ever tasted. It really shouldnt be classified as ""Italian"". There are frozen Italian TV dinners at your local grocer that taste better than this garbage. I will admit that the salad is good, but the soups are nothing more than broth and salt. This place is an insult to anyone who knows what REAL Italian food should taste and look like. It hurts me to see people waiting outside for a table. They obviously need to get out more and broaden there horizons. You could not pay me enough to wait for this trash.

Italian? Nice Try.

If you are looking for good Italian food, I would not recommend this restaurant. There are so many other options out there, why would you waste your time. If you are out of town and looking for a cheap place to get some fast, mediocre food, that's pretty much what you're going to get. Service and ambience are average and consistent - what do you expect...it's a chain.

You gotta be kidding

Without a doubt, this is the worst display of fake italian food I ever experienced. Who ever reviewes the Olove Garden as good dosen't know what real italian food is all about. Too bad though, the do know how to advertise and build a nice looking resturant.

tomate paste and garlic

If you enjoy tomato paste and garlic you will love olive garden. The only thing going for it is the fresh grated cheese and of course the salad. The tomato sauce is just thick, disgusting paste with garlic sprinkled on the top. Don't waste your money here.
