Im sure that the food is great but to have it delivered will leave you disappointed. I ordered the spaghetti plate and extra sauce and received no sauce. When i called to let them know what had happened... rather than see to it that i received what i was paying for they instead argued with me telling me they did not make a mistake, and then to make matters worse... when i asked for the name of the general manager they hung up on me... I do not recommend this place for delivery. Very poor people skills.

I moved to ATX November 2008. I was broke but loved to eat. I have tried every pizza place in Austin. When you live in SoCo you see all the popular places, but all you have to do is drive a mile, or less, down the road to get a better pizza for less money. It seems simple enough. All my friends swore by Home Slice and/or Southside Flying, but after showing them Milano's they are eating their words. Eating there tonight actually...

This is really good pizza, fresh toppings, and most importantly--fresh dough! Pizza Hut uses frozen dough pucks, I know, I worked there for like a decade. Papa John's does get their dough delivered daily so it is definitely better than Pizza Hut but why enrich a chain whose CEO makes millions when Milano's is around the corner, the guy behind the counter looks like he actually owns the place and the pizza rocks! It's that thin-not crispy thin but not doughy thick- NY style pizza that you can fold before you bite into it. The other day, I ordered carry out but waited for it in my truck while I read the paper...the dude brought it out to my car window when it was done...c'mon, what else do you want?

Unfortunately, this pizzaria can't seem to distinguish togo from call in orders, because not only did we have to wait in the parking lot an additional 15 minutes for our pizza we called in, but then we come to find out that our pizza was 1) never made or 2) sent out with a delivery driver to who knows where. An hour after we called in a pickup order. Fantastic excuses for not being able to get it together, guys! In consolation we were offered 15% off our next order, but I highly doubt they will see a return from me. \r Sad, too- the food is actually excellent.

Hands down, best pizza. My brother and I order food out on a daily basis because we both refuse to cook. This pizza is amazing and we've been ordering for a few months now...so glad we discovered it!!!!\r \r I am writing this review to get the word out...it's a tiny shop...not much to look at...but the food (everything on the menu) is so good I took some time to write a review. Saw the reviews about the lack of customer service...I haven't experienced that but it's just a take-out joint anyway and I promise you won't care once you eat the pizza!

This is not just okay pizza, it's really good, especially if you want something that tastes different then the big pizza chain options. Unfortunately the service is poor which is the reason I can only give it 3 stars.

The spinach and mushroom pizza is highly recommended, it has a nice garlicy flavor. Italian sausage and pepperoni are average.

They are always quick to deliver and have really great meatball subs, calzones, and pizzas. The ingredients they use are always fresh and the pizzas are always loaded with toppings.

I have lived in this zip code for most of the ten years I've been in Austin, and Milano's has never done me wrong. When I needed a Jalapeno thick crust, they were there. Calzone atttack? Out of hand solution. Even a salad or a sub. It's a neighborhood standard, and I love it. They've always been prompt, polite, and delcious for me.

I ordered a meal for delivery and was told it would be 45 minutes; it took over an hour. No big deal. I still left a 30% tip. Unfortunately, I did not check the bag until the delivery man had left. My order was incomplete. I called Milano and spoke with a boy who told me I'd get 1/2 off my next order. I said, ""No, thanks. I just want my food."" Hesitantly, he said he would send the delivery guy back. 45 minutes later, still no sign of him. I called Milano AGAIN and was assured he'd call me as soon as the delivery man got back to the store. 30 minutes passed; still no word. I called Milano AGAIN and told them to forget it. They seemed apathetic to complete the order. I will never order from there again. It's too much of a hassle for mediocre food.
