        Gosh, not sure the person who ...

        Gosh, not sure the person who wrote the "canned bean" review is talking about the same place! Las Palomas is a locals' favorite. They make everything from scratch and actually aren't a "Tex-Mex" restaurant--they are more of an interior Mexican cuisine kind of place in a laid back setting. Check their website for the nights there will be live music--it adds to the warm, relaxing ambiance.



        My favorite dish is a special chile relleno stuffed with meat, nuts and raisins. We're also big fans of their mole, tres marias enchiladas, puntas ala mexicana or chipotle and caldo tlalpeno (chicken soup). Their Yucatan specialties with pibil sauce are delicious.
