Laundry Twi

So I live right across from these laundry place so it's very convenient for me!..but they are HORRIBLE keeping the schedules like it says on the door!!!! It clearly says last wash at 9 closed at 10...about two weeks ago I went to these location after work around 8:00 pm I put my clothes in went back to my apartment to take my dog out came back 30 minutes later to put clothes on dryer...came back like at 8:56 to be exact and the open signs we're turned off and the doors where locked...I knocked and the girl acted like she didn't hear and waited for a little while and finally she turned off all lights! I was super upset! She should've told me she was going to close early so that I go to another laundry place! I mean these place is great but now o go to another laundry place because I'm afraid the same thing happens to me again!! And I talked to many other people that use to go to that laundry place but they hate how the open and closed sign says one thing and they actually open later than they say sometimes and close earlier than what they say!

- No-cash operation, load their proprietary debit card to run your machines then carry a balance; cash out of your pocket if you don't empty your card every trip

- - - NO TOP LOAD MACHINES - so if you have half a load you still pay up for a 2- or 3-load front load machine

- - Dryers only run 7 minutes on a single charge, 2 minutes of that is a "cool down" period. Be on your toes and add time sooner instead of later if your stuff isn't dry. Yeah, you lose 30 seconds by checking but it's better than losing 2 full minutes during that cool down period.

- Limited seating and it isn't very comfortable

- No wifi

- Nearest source of snacks/bevs (other than the overpriced vending machines) is a neighborhood convenience $$tore



If you only need to go to a laundromat a few times a year - to run your comforters or if your own laundry equipment is down - this is a great place.

If you find yourself in the laundromat 2-3 times monthly you'll be better off going to a rent-to-own business and "buying" your own laundry equipment.
