Balcones Recycling is the largest independent recycler of high-grade paper in the Southwestern United States. Balcones Recycling is the backbone of Balcones Resources Incorporated, which also operates Balcones Eco-Works, which has developed a unique, comprehensive approach to managing the nonhazardous solid waste stream of large manufacturing companies; and Balcones Components, which offers equipment sales and leasing of balers, compactors, air systems, shredders, bins and containers. Balcones Recycling is responsible for the Anything That Tears recycling program, which eliminates the need to remove staples, paper clips, rubber bands, tape or spiral bindings before sorting.

Horrible Customer Service by Balcones Recycling

I had a horrible experience with this company. I used them for more than a year but they had to call for directions each time they came out - even after I specifically asked them to keep the directions in the file. Their A/P department is a mess - they were trying to collect on an invoice from their previous owner that I paid yet they said I would have to get the previous owner to provide the proof directly - they wouldn't take a copy of the check from me. The word ""service"" was not part of the customer service department.
