Never been to Lamar office, but Balcones pain in Marble Falls charged more than three times my previous self pay rate, only to prescribe what I can only describe as sugar pills, as they had zero effect. Over $750. including prescription, wasted.

Dr. McCarty is a work of art to say the least. The staff Is arrogant, disrespectful and like the other reviews was charged 500.00 for a urine test. When the found out I had tri-care they had to buckle (tri-care is a federal government insurance for active/retired military). After spending over a month going back and forth with them, tri-care pulled the fed card and they were upset that they could not get away with robbery. 250.00 for new patients....ASK, ASK, ASK WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR NEW PATIENTS. 99% of insurance companies will not cover that charge and they know it! Mc Carty is not worh being called a Dr. When you have massive injuries that the only way can be taken care of is by medicine and you have MRI's and xray's to show your injury then thats that. So when i read that someone writes a review that he suggest "yoga" really? You went to a so called Dr. that you in deep 500.00 to get a suggestion to do "yoga" then you know that this is a member of his office doing this write up and read into this office and you will see his is a "bottom feeder" of MD's. All out to get your money and suggest "yoga" , how about an aspirin? He also has issues with you speaking, because he does not allow you to speak, When you do your wrong and he gets irate. Simply just save yourself the headache and this staff/so called dr. and go to a regular DR. He's full of attitude and so is his staff of drop out LVN's. STAY AWAY and save yourself the headache.....Yoga really? Hah! Missing a knee cap and three disc issues and im gonna do "yoga"? YOUR A JOKE AND SO IS YOUR STAFF, SHAME ON YOU FOR BILLING PATIENTS 250.00 FOR BEING A "NEW PATIENT" THAT WILL NOT BE COVERED!
