Worst Bank

This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. Their customer service is non-existent. I had a ridiculous fee on my account for a returned statement due to the bank not receiving my change of address. After speaking with a representative about the address change and the fee they agreed to remove the small fee of five dollars as long as I faxed a letter to them with the new address. A few days later I checked my account and was surprised to see the fee still on my account. I called back in to the bank to basically be called a liar and told there was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak to a higher representative and got Miranda. Miranda was very rude to me and also basically called me a liar. After a long hold time, she came back on the line stating, very rudely, as a "courtesy" to me they would remove the fee. After this ordeal, I went to use my debit card to find they were deactivated! I am still trying to get them to reactivate it. I have never been treated so badly from any company let alone the place I trust to watch my money. This has bank has given me nothing but problems since starting with them. This incident does not take into consideration the additional problems I had when I first started. A word of advice, do not bank here! Find a place that isn't keen on employing incompetent, rude people.

BAD SERVICE

I recently opened a checking account here at AFCU. The service has been terrible. I had to wait 3 months to get a debit/credit card, and even so, they have a very old system, SO BEWARE bankers! If you bank there, when your paycheck deposits, you cannot use it right away. Nope, their system updates at 9:30, 12, and 7. So say you get paid on Friday, cant touch it till 9:30. If your lucky. I was not so lucky, many times, my check did not update till noon, EVEN though it showed there as early as 7am online. Each time I called, I was talked down to by employees as if I wasnt entitled to my own hard earned money when I wanted it. Not to mention, the one and only loaction. With gas prices, who has the time and gas to drive all the way across town, just because the system is slow, thats the only way to touch my money. \r Im done with them, I only joined to appease my husband, who still banks there. I expect better.
