I always drove by this salon but never knew what kind of services were offered. It's nestled away by office buildings on Old Jollyville Road between 360/183/Mopac. I went for my first haircut with Jennifer this week and she was fabulous. The salon is small and intimate - she is the only stylist who works there right now. She told me that it was an old house that they transformed into a salon. There are two main hairdressing chair stations, a few hair dryer seats and sinks, two spa pedicure chairs and two nail stations. I was very impressed at Jennifer's professional and friendly attitude. She made me feel comfortable and made my hair look great - just what I wanted. I really like the small feel of the salon - sometimes the noise and distractions of huge salons with tons of workers can be a bit much for me. I loved the personalized attention here.
Pricing is very reasonable - a woman's haircut was $30 for me - including a wash and dry. I believe Jennifer also does the nails herself - the pricing seemed a bit high for the mani/pedi's but the color and cut services all seemed very reasonable. She did a fantastic job and I will definitely go back! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great hairdresser. Thanks, A'Salon!!!
