Alborz Persian Cuisine

As a persian, I know what I'm taking about. This place has great food and they have a nice stuff. I have never had a problem there. I come here every time I come to austin. :)
I suggest it if you want to try some different kind of food.

I been in this place for few times, but the last one made me to make my mind not to go back there any more, just because the owner he was petty rude and the food quality was bad. I was really disappointed by the owner how he was yelling at the Mexican guys behind the kitchen counter. I felt really bad in the way he was yelling at those hard working guys.

The Kabob was not testy, and rice was terrible, for those reason I decided not to waist my hard earning Money in this bad ALBORZ Restaurant any more .

Alborz has a great selection of tasty dishes including vegetarian items. The atmosphere is relaxing with plenty of interesting things to look at. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they will gladly accommodate requests for options that are not listed on the menu. When getting takeout, orders are ready in mere minutes. The hummus and pita bread are delicious and our favorite dinner choices are the vegetarian platter, vegetarian delight, and gourmet sabzeh (spelling?). If it weren't for their high prices, we would dine here often.

if you have never had persian food before this is the place to start. the koobideh is out of this world and the atmosphere is pleasant . the buffet is fresh and well prepared.
