    Don't pick this place!

    Don't pick this place!! This was the worst customer service ever!!!!! we asked for someone to come and fix our refrigerator. They came, Checked it and said there would be 2-4 days until they had the part. On the 5th day I called and they said it would be in that afternoon. " when would you like it installed" I was dumbfounded! umn I would like it installed when you receive it...Duh! So the next appointment would be 8 days out from the original day they came out. What? 8 days without a refrigerator. To top that when I decided to go with another company they would not refund the money for the part and lied to my wife stating that "your husband had no urgency to get the fridge fixed" I guess when you yell at them on the phone and tell you that you are very disappointed with their service and state that you have been without a refrigerator for 5 days and would like something done now. That doesn't count for urgency! These people have been in business for 17 years and the owner cares not one bit about her customers! To heck with you!

    they" fixed" my dryer.

    they" fixed" my dryer.... stopped working 30 minutes after repair man left, took three weeks to get a new starter, ended up being the motor. the owner Randy said he would reimburse us the 269.00. Three weeks later no check . he will not return calls. I had to buy a new dryer. Please don't trust this company.

    Horrible service.

    Horrible service. Rude receptionist on the phone. Didn't keep any of the appointments. Diagnosed the problem incorrectly. And kept my deposit, which was for the wrong part. Would NEVER use you guys or recommend you to anyone.

    WE HAVE AN EIGHT WEEK OLD BABY IN OUR…

    WE HAVE AN EIGHT WEEK OLD BABY IN OUR HOME AND AT AROUND 1AM I WOKE UP SWEATING AND I WENT TO MY THERMOSTAT AND FOUND THAT IT WAS 83 IN OUR HOUSE. I WOKE MY HUSBAND UP AND TOLD HIM SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH OUR AIR CONDTION HE LOOKED IN THE PHONE BOOK STARTED CALLING ANY AIR CONDTION COMPANY THAT WOULD ANSWER THERE PHONE AFTER CALLING ABOUT 15 DIFFERENT COMPANIES WITH NO ANSWER OR NO RETURN CALL AT 1AM A REALLY SWEET GIRL FROM ABA APPLIANCE CALLED US BACK (I AM NOT SURE WHAT HER NAME IS) BUT SHE WAS VERY PROMPT AND VERY NICE SHE TOLD ME SHE WOULD HAVE A TECHNICIAN TO OUR HOME BY 2:30 AM. I AM IN A FRANTIC BECAUSE WE HAVE A BRAND NEW BABY AND IT IS GETTING HOTTER BY THE MINUTE. SHE HAD A TECHNICIAN OUT TO OUR HOME WITH ONE HOUR. WHEN MY HUSBAND ANSWERED THE DOOR THE GUY TOOK HIS HAT OFF BEFORE IN WALKED INTO OUR HOME AND HE ALSO PUT ON THE THINGS ON HIS FEET SO HE WOULD NOT GET OUR FLOORS DIRTY. HE HAD THE BEST MANNERS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. THE GUY ASKED MY HUSBAND TO DIRECT TO OUR THERMOSTAT. I AM NOT SURE WHAT HE DID THERE BUT HE THEN ASKED MY HUSBAND TO BE EXCUSED (GREAT MANNERS) WHILE HE STEPS OUTSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE AIRCONDTION . WITHIN FIVE MINTUES OF HIM BEING OUT THERE HE KNOCKED ON OUR DOOR AGAIN AND ASKED MY HUSBAND TO STEP OUT SIDE WITH HIM SO HE COULD SHOW HIM WHAT OUR PROBLEM WAS. WHILE OUTSIDE HE ADVISED MY HUSBAND OF OUR PROBLEM AND THEN ASKED FOR APPROVAL TO MAKE THE REPAIR. THERE SERVICE GUY WAS CHAD AND HE WAS BY FAR THE NICEST SERVICE GUY WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. IT TOOK ABOUT ONE HOUR FOR OUR HOUSE TO COOL BACK DOWN BUT IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT ABA APPLIANCE PROVIDED US I DONT THINIK WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO STAY IN OUR HOME THE REST OF THAT NIGHT . I JUST WANT TO GIVE A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO ABA APPLIANCE FROM THE GIRL WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE TO OUR TECHNICAN CHAD. THANK YOU SO MUCH. CHAD HAS NOW OFFICALY WON ABA APPLIANCE ANOTHER LIFE LONG CUSTOMER. I WILL FOR SURE BE TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS ABOUT ABA APPLIANCE. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

    i have never experienced service as good…

    i have never experienced service as good as ABA appliance.

    they are fast, customer service is the best i have ever had and there prices were cheaper than the last appliance company i used and they always seem to run weekly specials. i highly recommend ABA appliance

    Either uninformed or intentionally overpricing their parts

    So my mother-in-law's expensive ($1,000) LG washing machine broke after 8 years. I later found it was getting a common error code. I had just started a new job, and didn't have to time to diagnose the problem. My wife called ABA to take a look. The tech apparently spent less than 5 minutes looking at it, and quoted us almost $600 to repair it. $400 for a new motor, and $200 for labor. I was concerned when I heard the quote because the unit doesn't have a motor, it has a stator. So after work, I went by the house to see what was wrong. The first thing I saw was that the tech either took, or misplaced the service manual that comes inside the machine. I had to download one. After spending 20 minutes going through the various tests which required nothing more than a multimeter, I determined that the error was being caused by the stator position sensor. $25.00 pus 4.95 shipping later and the machine runs like new. It's had at least 30 loads through it now, including bedding. My father was a plumber, so I'm lucky to have a little experience with these things from working with him as a kid. ABA totally tried to take advantage of us, thinking that my wife and mother-in-law would just agree. They should be ashamed of themselves for pricing a job according to the customer and their house rather than what the job required. I wonder what would have happened when their new "motor" failed to fix the issue.

    BEST SERVICE YET

    MY AC WENT OUT TODAY 8-6-10 (FRIDAY) AT 6:00PM AFTER FLIPPING THE BREAKER AND TOYING WITH THE T-STAT I CALLED ABA AT 6:55. THE YOUNG LADY ON THE PHONE WAS WONDERFUL, PUNCTUAL AND PROMPT. SHE OFFERED SAME DAY SERVICE THEN AT NORMAL RATES. SHE TOLD ME A TECH WOULD BE THEIR WITH THE HOUR. LOW AND BEHOLD 35 MIN LATER THE TECH WAS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR. THE TECHNICIAN WAS HONEST AND PROMPT. TOLD ME THE PROBLEM WITH THE OUTSIDE UNIT AND SUGGESTED A FEW DIFFERENT REPAIRS. ONE BEING AN IMMEDIATE FIX, ANOTHER BEING A REPLACEMENT UNIT WITH A VERY LOW REASONABLE PRICE. HE ALSO LET ME KNOW THAT IF I DECIDED TO REPLACE THE UNTIL LATER THEY WOULD APPLY WHAT I HAD ALREADY PUT OUT TO THE ESTIMATE. WITH IN 60DAYS OF COURSE. BUT AGAIN THIS COMPANY WAS HONEST REASONABLE, AND ON TIME. I COULDN'T OF ASKED FOR ANYTHING MORE. THANK YOU ABA APPLIANCE.

    Suprised!

    I based my decision on calling this company for my heating problem from the previous reviewers. The service writer was courteous and was able to get a service call for me that day. I called after 2PM and was told that technician would be there between 3 and 7 PM. Technician didn't arrive until after 8PM. The service charge was reasonable however the tech charged tax and he shouldn't have. He diagnosed the problem but couldn't fix it on the spot because he didn't have the part with him. For him to come back and fix the heater he required that I pay half of the quoted price that night and the balance when he finished the job! I'm sorry but I don't do business that way! Don't know if this company has fallen on hard times and requires all customers to front half of the bill up front or is it was just a matter of me being in the wrong zip code. Whatever, I won't be calling them again!!

    This company is honest and well priced. They were able to set an appointment the same day I called. The technician was on time and very professional. My air conditioner was promptly repaired at a reasonable cost. Thanks, ABA.

    The best service company around

    Aba Appliance was the best company that I have received service from in a long time. I had great customer service from the start, and was given a reasonable time frame with a phone call in advance. The technician was kind and honest and very helpful. I was quoted a fair price and not charged a service fee with the repair. They were able to fix my Heater on the spot and then offered a recommendation for a wise future investment. Since they were their I asked if they could look at my washer, the technician was happy to do so. Once again fixed it on the spot. I will never use anyone else again........ABA Appliance; on time, great customer service, and completely honest.
