There's no other place like this in Austin. I moved here from Dallas, where there's three great, well-staffed LGBT practices near Oak Lawn. My first physician in West Austin flipped out when I expressed an interest in PrEP and treated me very unprofessionally afterward. The entire practice at Downtown Doctor is LGBT-friendly and professional: the staff, the nurses and the doctor herself. They're also pretty likable, efficient, diverse in every sense and not judgy. Dr. Freeman remembered small details from my first visit almost five months ago. She also gave me options on treating my blood pressure. It's also staffed on Saturday, like my favorite LGBT clinic in Dallas. My sincerest advice to readers: Take these reviews with a grain of salt. My not-so-LGBT-friendly first doctor has a 4.5 rating.
I have been going to see Dr. Gupta for ateast 5 years now and he is by Far one of the BEST Dr's I HAVE EVER HAD. I have heard great things about all of the other doctors here as well. I think what makes this place soooo GREAT is that if for some reason they have to refer you to a specialist or something they refer you to only THE BEST OF THE BEST. I have a thyroid problem that was quickly caught by Dr. Gupta, he then recommended me to another great doctor, and the issue was takin care of. If you are looking for a new group of dr's for either you or your kids this is the place ! I cant say enough GREAT things about Dr. Gupta and his staff
