This is a great coffee shop! I don't always come here because it's a little on the pricey side compared to the more divey coffee shops I frequent. Their Italian desserts are always very delicious and of high quality. The coffees are very good and served with a small biscotti. I always think that's such a nice little touch, and it makes the slightly higher prices worth it. The ambiance is always pleasant and you can sit outside or inside. On the weekends and evenings, it's usually packed with Hyde Park neighbors so be prepared to try someplace else. This would make a great date meet-up.

I've been to Dolce Vita a few times now. It's classic Austin and I love that there's a place like this in my neighborhood. Haven't had much of the food but the drinks are tasty. My biggest problem is the ordering process is very awkward and the staff doesn't really help you figure out the "go sit down, we'll bring it to you." also wish the outdoor space is a little cramped.
I went into tart yogurt last week to grab a quick snack. I was surprised at the large array of toppings and healthy options. I appreciate having this type of option downtown! :) Sandi Austin
