We have used these services for many, many years and it is always great! Annual
checkups, sickness and even assistance with the last days for dogs and cats too have been the best we could ask for! Our grown children are now taking their pets there too.

Dr. Lassen and Leigh are Awesome!! They love your pets and care for them with outstanding excellence in their field. Great and Affordable Prices. They won't ever overcharge you because they are in the business to help your pets get well and feel better.

We have used Dr Lassen for 18 or so years he is a character and he obviously loves animals and is always their advocate, there's nothing fancy in this practice and fees seem to be honest and fair, often times cheaper than most others and if there is a cost savings at another place they often recommend that other place. This is not a Petco factory style veterinary practice and can often seem a little raw upfront, but your animal always comes 1st and truly that is obviously all that matters.

I have called twice now to get my dog in and it is very clear that Lee does not want new patients. Very sad, as I have heard good things about Dr. Lassen but I won't be trying again.

I called to get my poodle into see Dr. Lassen, I was referred by several people, so I called the clinic, the receptionist (?) said and I quote 'we are not taking new patients' end of conversation.

I wanted to make an appointment for my cat. He had an ear infection and I wanted to switch vet's completely. Lee refused to schedule me an appointment because:1) She diagnosed him on the phone and they would end up referring him to someone else2) I wouldn't tell her why I wanted to switch vets3) Customers 'get mad' at them when vets are switchedShe talked non-stop and wouldn't let me speak. I finally asked to speak to the doctor, which of course I wasn't allowed. I told her I would come down personally and speak to the Doctor. She then said that the doctor was her husband. Dr. Lassen - your wife is hurting your business. If anyone else treated people like this, they would get fired. Scroll down to read more reviews about her poor business skills.

Wanted to switch vets completely with my cat. Lee, the receptionist, wouldn't give me an appointment for the Dr. to see him.She made a diagnosis on the phone (she's not a dr.) and insisted to know why I wanted to switch vets. She then said I couldn't have an appointment because 'other patients who switch ended up getting mad at them'.When I said I was going to speak to the Vet personally because she wouldn't schedule me, she said the Dr. was her husband.So the vet MAY be good, if you can get his wife to schedule you.

Not sure about the grumpy person below who didn't like that they are not on the Denver Dumb Friends League list, but we have been going here for years. Went once early on to VCA Wingage, got the bill and never went back. Price checked over the years and no other vets were close in price. ALSO, and most importantly, Dr. Lassen is great. This is like the old home town doctors office, not like all these other corporate mass production money making machine vet clinics that are around now days.

We have used this clinic exclusively for all our family pets since 1997. In the past year, it seems to be all about the money. I understand that these are hard financial times, but they have taken things to an extreme.Its not the same place that it was 15 years ago. I just found out that they no longer support the Denver Dumb friends league. When we adopted our dog back in 1997, the DDFL gave us a booklet of all vets that do an initial exam for free if you adopt from DDFL. I figured it was a win win for both. I will be looking for a new vet clinic. I'll get the list from DDFL with whom they do business with.

I am in my 30's with 3 cats and a dog. My parents have used this vet since I was a kid and I have used it since. The Doctor is amazing and his prices are low and always have been. A clinic with the animals well being in mind and not there wallets.

My husband and I have been going to Dr Lassen for ~5 years. They are always helpful and willing to work us in at the last minute if one of our dogs is having an unexpected issue. Also, they are very affordable. At our last vet clinic, we easily spent around $250 to get shots for both of our dogs. Here is is around $80-100. Buckley Square Vet has been more affordable for shots, heart worm medicine, even when one of our dogs needed a cyst removed and had a teeth cleaning the cost was reasonable. Also, unlike other vets we have been to, Dr Lassen takes good care of your pets but does NOT suggest unnecessary procedures. I would highly recommend this vet clinic to any of my friends and family. In fact, I have and several of them and now customers as well!

I have been taking my family pets to this office for several years now. We started going after one of the "big" clinics made a terrible error with one of my cats. Dr. Lassen has diagnosed quickly and accurately things other vets have missed or mis-diagnosed. Even our timid dog is comfortable there. My family includes 2 dogs and 3 cats so we need a veterinary office that is not only good but affordable. Buckley Square Vet is both those things. They treat us like family and are always honest in our dealings with them. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Buckley Square Vet is the perfect neighborhood vet. Nothing corporate or unecessary about them. It is a simple practice without all of the bells and whistles that are expensive to the practice and passed on to the consumer. I feel that Dr. Lassen's care of our animals is genuine and loving and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for care.

UNBELIEVABLELY RUDE! We got a new puppy and got her first shots @ Petco while we researched a local vet to be our "whole house" solution. Puppy is about 10 weeks, so we thought getting the 8 week shots while we find a vet made sense. My wife called and spoke to Dr. Lassen's wife about this. After bashing Petco/Vetco, she told us they would not see our new puppy. She was very rude and talked down to my wife. If I were you, I would look somewhere else unless you like being be-rated and hung up on. No need to waste your money and time dealing with such a b!tch. We are the consumers and have a RIGHT to not be treated like this. Show them how much you appreciate this treatment by not going to this office.

This vet and his assistant have helped me with ailments and endings for my best friends. They really do it for the animals - that is so obvious. No nonsense, no ridiculous procedures, but simple practical loving care. I love the way they refer to my pets as "kids."

Dr. Lassen's practice reminds you of years ago when you dealt with people, not corporations. The personal touch you receive at Buckley Square Vet Clinic is unheard of these days. Dr. Lassen is kind and understanding. When I was forced to put my 16-year-old best friend to sleep, I could not have had more support and kindness shown to me and to my dog. They are the best.
