        Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center, LLC is a general and surgical dermatology practice comprised of nineteen offices throughout Georgia with locations including Dublin, Warner Robins, Macon, Conyers, Milledgeville, Thomaston, Forsyth, Tifton, Americus, Cordele, Douglas, Statesboro, Augusta and coastal offices in Savannah, Richmond Hill, Brunswick, Jesup, Waycross, and Hinesville. The organization is well established and well known having served in Georgia for over forty years. There are sixteen physicians, eighteen physician assistants and two nurse practitioners with a staff of more than one hundred associates. We specialize in the treatment of all types of skin disorders and the removal of skin cancer. Mohs surgery is performed by our Mohs surgeons in the Dublin, Warner Robins, Tifton, Hinesville, and Brunswick offices. We welcome new patients and referrals, and we accept most insurance plans. Our practice also has an in-house pathology lab located in Savannah that services our nineteen locations as well as several other practices in the area. Laboratory services include evaluation of skin biopsies and excisions, slide preparation and immunohistochemical staining.

        Throughout my life I have always tanned in tanning beds. Sadly, that has caught up to me and I found out through the GA Derm staff that I had several melanomas on my face and shoulders. The nurses and doctors have done FANTASTIC work removing these melanomas and making my face and shoulders look normal even after a few surgeries. The staff at Georgia Dermatology has truly saved my life and made me look great while doing it. I will always recommend patients their way!

        Dr. Chappell and his well-trained staff couldn't be anymore perfect than they already were. My oldest son was struggling with very bad acne throughout high school, after a few visits to his staff; the acne was all cleared up. It changed my son’s life and allowed him to be confident with himself again.

        Thanks to the staff, Dr. Chappell and Caroline Wells for making the experiences for my family worthwhile. I have always been able to get an appointment with Caroline, the physician assistant within a couple of days. They are very knowledgeable and there to help you. I highly recommend this group to anyone! Best dermatologist in Augusta and surrounding area!

        Just finished my appointment from Georgia Dermatology and Dr. Chappell is hands down the best Dermatologist I have found since I moved to Augusta, Ga. I've been here for 20+ years so that says a lot. His bedside manner is exceptional. He helped me to feel welcomed and secure (he explained my skin issue and told me his recommended treatment and medications that would be prescribed) he helped me to feel valued (he explained other measures he wanted to take "just to be on the safe side") I've searched for a long time for a great dermatologist and now I've found one. Dr. Chappell- Georgia Dermatology.
