Reliable Movers

The best. Called Jen on a Tuesday and she got me set to move the following day, despite being busy ahead of and post-holiday. The team was excellent, they moved all large items from one place to another within an hour. Fast, efficient, & cautious with the items. I’ll never try to move myself again. Didn’t even have to take the day off.

Unfortunately Yellow pages does not have a system to which I can respond to customer reviews. I was told by the company to write it this way. To which I kind of find unfair as I want only true reviews on our page. I would like to address Karmasback.

This customer was moved with two full 26 foot truck from Wolcott NY to PA. His shipment was packed by myself and another employee. Yes, the customer did receive one nick in his dining room chair to which I paid for a furniture repair company to come and fix it. I cannot push other companies to move faster for repairs thus it took three weeks. As for the customers two birds that were damaged. I pack as the owner 5-6 shipments a month. I have been told several times by larger companies that I waste too much material and too much time over packaging items. I have a feeling this customer in a hurry unwrapped his birds too fast from the shrink wrap and bubbles and broke the birds. He may even drop them. Which is beside the point as I did send him a check for 150.00. One identical bird sold on ebay for 45.00 the other is valued at $60.00. His damage reimbursement check is 11 times over USDOT law requirements. The customer also failed to say I spent 4 hours unpaid finding a flat bed driver to move his tractors down to PA at a good price at 8pm at night. He also fails to mention I dealt with his emails Christmas Eve, Christmas day, lets see if the "Big name Companies" do this. I also rescheduled his large move without a extra charge. His boxes were put in the garage at his wife's direction as they moved from a large house to a house half the size and there was no other place to put the boxes. Nor did he mention his 6 person jacuzzi arrived in perfect condition or the rest of his extremely large shipment. The customer had over 200 boxes, along with a full 3 bedroom house and pool house, and two garages. This shipment was loaded and brought the following day at his request.

There are just some customers you cannot please no matter how many hoops you jump through. I have gone beyond normal mover protocol with this customer. He received the highest quality service from us.

Wow! What a great team from start to finish. I am so happy I was referred to Reliable Movers by a friend that had used them. From the estimate to the move everything went smoothly and very efficient. The owners and their work crew are very nice pleasant people to work with. I highly recommend using their services!

Extremely pleased with the whole experience. Very friendly and courteous from start to finish. they were the perfect mix of speed and carefulness loading and unloading. The contract clear and concise. The price quoted and accurate, about $400.00 less than other quotes. Everything went flawlessly. I moved a 3 bedroom duplex from Syracuse to Ocala Fl 2-9-17. This is the first time I used Movers and loved these guys. I was recommended by a friend who used them. I am a college student with one chold and transferred to Florida from Syracuse. The owner was very nice, answered all my questions in a timely manner and gave me a great estimate. The guys showed up promptly at the time arranged. They were polite and very hardworking. They moved a dresser from out of my second story window with such ease. Because of the nasty snow storm I could not get to Orlando on the day agreed for delivery. The owner was kind and did not charge me for the two day delay. Unloading went just as good and was overseen by the owner and his wife. I highly recommend this company. I had no issues at all and have referred them to two other of my classmates transferring to NYC.

We contacted this moving company to move us 10 miles. First off they were a no show for the walk thur. Had to call them. Then a week later the other owner shows up out of the blue to do the walk thur, claiming they always do them together. That should have been our first sign. Called them a few times to adk questions about boxing our items, etc, which went well. Ok. Now the day of the move, no movers. Claim we cancelled. WHAT?? They agreed to come the next day, since we were all packed, had to stay at a motel. The actual movers were AWESOME
as long as you dont have to deal with the owners. When I tried to get some clarification on the cancellation phone call, they can not come up with anything. The response when i said I would not recommend them was that they own 2 other business so basically I got the idea they just dont care. Dont waste your time with this company

I used these guysJune 3rd and had NO issues. What a great crew they have. They were diligent helpful and very nice. They moved my stuff with care. They showed up on time. The truck was large and clean. The price was 50.00 more then another quote but worth every penny.

Do NOT use reliable movers. I trusted the reviews I had read online...what a mistake that was. Save yourself a headache, use another company.

I hired Reliable Movers to move my 69 year old mother from Syracuse Ny to Vero Beach Fl. I was very happy with the service from start to end. They were 1000.00 cheaper. They came on time at the start and end. They put my nervous mother at ease. The price was very good and the men very nice.

Reliable Movers moved us from Camillus to Tampa Florida two weeks ago. These guys are lightning fast and amazing. I was given a flat rate price which beat three others movers. They showed up on the right day five minutes early. My stuff in perfect condition. They answered my emails quickly and efficiently and put my worries at ease. The owner even answered the phone on a Sunday at ten at night when I was going to leave a message.

I gave Jen, the owners wife, NUMEROUS chances to replace and repair two porcelain birds that THEY BROKE during the move. This was in June...... I can't tell you how many times I got an email from her sayin " It's summer....everyone is busy". I'm not asking for THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS......all I want is fair replacement value of an item that is irreplaceable because of its age. Now I'm being ignored because my last email basically said I'm losing my patience. I'm sorry... I just checked the calendar and now it's November.....my opinion is .... Business isn't over until both sides are happy... In the case of RELIABLE MOVERS, business is OVER the sec the got their check. It was 8-9pm when the finished up unloading our house... The every box which was put onto their truck was marked with a specific room for it to be placed it....funny how EACH AND EVERY BOX just got stacked in the garage . They received their payment and were GONE before it was even noticed, they tout themselves as a small company that cares about their service....YEAH RIGHT... They want their $$$ and the hell with you after they leave. Well Mike and Jen .... Enjoy your $8000.00 and re up your gym membership on me... Don't worry about my stuff... After all , it's not for you to worry about ...right ?

I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone looking for a mover. There are reasons that big name movers got to be big name movers...at least they stand behind their promises.

Also, rest assured I will be re posting this on as many review sites I van find... I would be doing a dis service to anyone looking for a mover, if I didn't.

Every move presents its challenges, to both the homeowner and the mover. But factor in 26 years of accumulation and memories, and it becomes even move difficult. The physical moving of boxes and furniture became secondary to the care that the crew displayed. They understood that they were not just handling material objects that filled a house, but more importantly my memories of family, happiness, and most sacred pieces passed down from generations. The crew truly made me feel like their most important client. The men showed the highest professionalism and utmost care. I thank you Reliable Movers for making my transition so peaceful.

My wife of 26 years decided that the kids were grown and wanted out. I got the divorce papers not knowing she wanted a divorce. This left the splitting of assets. She came in with her movers who trashed our home. They ripped my screen door off, scratched my hard wood floor in the dining room and banged the dresser down three walls in the hallway. We sold the house leaving me with calling a mover. Of course I was not going to call the blue truck movers she had called. I found Reliable Movers through the internet. The girl in the office sympathized with my whole messed up life and offered packing at a 10% discount. Jennifer came with her sister and got me packed for the move. It took them only 7 hours to pack up my mess. I was impressed.









The guys came the next morning and started at an unstoppable pace Shrink wrapping, taking apart the beds, stacking boxes, calling for certain furniture to fit in the truck like some jig saw puzzle. What I did not realize is how much hard work really does go into the moving process. These guys make it look easy. And their sense of humor is most outrageous. These guys raised my spirits and talked to me like I was one of their "buddies". If only I was 20 years younger I would be joining this crew.









They loaded a big truck and brought it to my new apartment on the second floor. I was boxed in the tiny apartment but it was a job well done. All the furniture put where I wanted, unwrapped, and set back up. No damages. I offered the guys a beer to which they opted for soda.











Jennifer came in right after and helped unpack boxes. She even helped arrange the kitchen putting the dishes and cookware away with smart choices. Dummy me wanted the dishes at the far right until she pointed out they should be near the dishwasher easier for unloading. Spices next to the stove cabinet. My wife cooked, I never went in the kitchen, I was always ordered out of it.









When looking for apartments my heart felt defeated. I felt helpless. Reliable Movers made my move so fun that I actually feel bachelor hood is a new open door. If only I could have gotten the wife to take this ugly flower pattern sofa!









Hire Reliable Movers. These people know what they are doing. Professional, hard working, down to earth, and -------- honest.

Excellent service. I hired Reliable Movers at the last minute to move my home from Mattydale to Port Orange Florida as the mover I had booked backed out at the last minute stating they could not get enough shipments going that way. This left me 4 days to find a mover.



Mike and his guys loaded me on a Tuesday and were at my door at 9am in Port Orange on Friday as I requested. The price was about $600.00 more than the other movers but worth every penny.



The guys made my move so easy. Everything was handled with care. Our beds were put back together, the boxes in the right rooms, the furniture in the same condition prior to it leaving New York. I inherited my fathers 1000lb pizza oven and wine press treasured beloved items and the guys moved them with such care. I couldn't ask for anything more.



I believe in the mom and pop companies, the small business man really makes the extra effort and stands out.

I love Reliable Movers! They made my move go from terrible to terrific in a matter of a few hours. I hate moving, I delayed it as long as I could and when they arrived I really was not ready. I guess I got too caught up in the holiday activities and did not realize I had way more packing then I assumed.



Kevin called the owner, and she came down and helped me with the finally packing while the guys loaded. The move went flawless and everyone was happy. The kids were set up in their rooms that night.
