I took my MacBook Pro here for what appeared to be a defective logic board. At first, they told me I was in luck because there was no water damage and I still have apple care on the laptop. Two days later I received a call saying that upon further inspection it was discovered that there was I fact water damage and I'd have to pay $700-900 for a repair. They told me the water damage had come from something getting on the keyboard, something of which I believe I'd recall doing (I know that did not happen). So I picked up my computer and took it to another apple store and they are replacing the logic board for free as it is still covered under warranty, since there was no water damage. Seems to be a simple case of a business trying to extract as much money as they can by taking advantage of college students. Do not trust these people because either they don't know what they're doing or they're just dishonest.
