September 13,2011 Dear Ms. Evans, Thank you Comfort Keepers!!! My 90 year old mom is legally blind and lives in a senior citizen's residential community in Atlanta. For the past two plus years, Comfort Keepers has provided her with a daily CNA who has ensured that her life remains active and fulfIlled as well as providing her family with the peace of mind of knowing that her dignity, safety and quality of life is being protected. I have heard many "horror" stories from friends who have used other agencies for their elderly parents. I can honestly and thankfully say that Comfort Keepers has provided my mom with compassionate, attentive, reliable, competent caregivers. Ms. Evans, I attribute so much of our excellent experience to your personal involvement in vetting and matching caregiver personalities to be a great fit with my mom's sweet disposition and zest for life. In addition, you have provided ongoing monitoring and coaching for your caregivers to ensure a high, consistent quality of care. Ms. Evans, please feel free to use me and or my mom as a referral. At this stage in her life, there is nothing more important to me than ensuring the happiness of my mom, and thanks to you and your caregivers, that goal is being accomplished. ~~ Fred Broder

My husband and I recently used Gentle Touch to come to our home to have our 11 year old dog dying of cancer put to sleep. We didn't want to add to his pain by taking him to the vets office to have it done and our vet recommend Gentle Touch. The vet and her assistant were great! They made us and our dog feel very comfortable. The experience was so much better than having it done at the vets office. They gave him a sedative before putting him to sleep which made the transistion more comfortable for our dog and us. We would recommend Gentle Touch and their services to anyone in our situation or for any dog that just doesn't like going to the vet. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Hands On Atlanta sponsors large days of service in many metro counties- Hands On Atlanta Day in October, Martin Luther King Jr Service Summit in January, Technology Service Days, and more. They also sponsor corporate service projects and lots of school programs. I highly recommend using them if you are new to the area and looking to meet people, or want to get your kids involved in service at a young age. They do all the legwork to connect you to groups that fit your needs.
