I damaged a pair of heels earlier in the day and was calling around looking for a shoe repair place that could provide a quick repair. As it was exactly 5pm on a Saturday afternoon, I was not having much luck. The places that were open would only accept the shoes but wouldn't have them ready any earlier than Monday. When I called Peachtree Battle Shoe Repair, I was told that the business was closed already but that he would wait for me if I could get there in 15 minutes. When I arrived, the owner promptly began working on my shoes. They were fixed in about 7 minutes. He didn't charge me a dime as it was a relatively minor repair. I spent $5 on a pair on inexpensive slippers and left a $2 tip. These days it is a challenge to find good customer service but Peachtree Battle Shoe Repair is the best. They have a customer for life in me and I would gladly refer everyone I know to this business.
I purchased a Bennie's Shoes gift certificate at a charity golf event. Thank you Bennie's for your very nice donation. On my first visit I purchased a very nice pair of Allen Edmonds at a really nice price. The sales person was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to measure my foot and help me find the correct size and style. I left Bennie's shoes with a smile on my face. On my second visit I decided to let Bennie's Shoes repair a few of my favorite shoes. On my old Cole Haan loafers, they replace the soles and heels at a great price and they looked like new. On my wifes boots they repaired just the heels and polished the leather. My wife was very pleased on how her old boots looked like new again. I have been back a few more times since my first visit, I can see why Bennie's Shoes has been in Atlanta for over hundred years. Great service and prices.
My favorite pair of Diors was ably repaired at an affordable price at Bennie's Shoes. It was difficult for me to entrust my favorite Diors to a shoe repair shop to replace the heels. Very difficult. Brian -- one of the owners of Bennies -- looked over my special shoes and gave me his assessment of what needed to be done in a friendly low-key manner. He put me at ease. And he promised me that the repairs would be done while I waited. I walked over to the Michaels in the small shopping plaza where Bennie's Shoes is located. Twenty minutes later Brian had my Diors ready for me at the counter. Everything looks good. The price was right. And I had no difficulty in communicating with any of the staff at Bennie's Shoes. Communication is a big problem at other woman's shoe repair places that I have frequented in Buckhead previously. Kudos to Bennie's Shoes.
