I went to High School at Galloway in the late 90's and I highly recommend it. I'll be sending my kids there when they are older if I'm living in Atlanta. The class sizes are small and the teachers foster discussions rather than memorization of facts. They are also very flexible, crafting classes for 3 students or even 1 student, at times to meet individual needs and interests. The school places value in fostering a lifetime love of learning, not just learning enough facts to get a diploma. They want their students to be curious and enjoy new experiences and continue the learning process throughout adulthood. The school has expanded since I went, but based on a recent visit back and looking at the classrooms and many of the same teachers still present, it appears that they haven't changed their philosophy even if the buildings and grounds have changed.

This school is wonderful! My children attend who are also Muslim( NOI) and this is one school i have been able to see immediate results. They garner a lot of attention per child. The owner is very knowledgeble and it helps that i can drop off my infant and my older children in one place to get educated properly. The owner has a lot of information to give to the parents and i have seen parents register their children and travel at least an hour away :) They require parents to commit at least 15 hours monthly to the community service at the school. The classes are gender based and the tuition is reasonable. LOVE LOVE LOVE It. Not to mention my children take AP classes lol.... call them 404-254-2530
My son attended the Heiskell school from pre-K all the way through the 8th grade. He was very well prepared for High School and was greatly impacted by the strong Christian values taught there. The teachers truly want each student in their class to reach their full potential. Small class size allowes the teachers to give the students individual attention.
