I ORDERED A PIZZA FROM THERE FOR THE FIST TIME AND IT WILL BE THE LAST. I HAVE BEEN ORDERING PIZZA'S FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANYONE ASK FOR THE THREE DIGITS ON THE BACK OF MY CARD. I ASKED HER WHY AND SHE SAID WE CAN'T PROCESS THE ORDER WITHOUT THAT INFORMATION. THAT WAS NO ANSWER. I TOLD HER THAT MY QUESTION WAS THE SAME. SHE SAID SHE HAD ANSWERED IT. NO SHE HAD NOT. I CALLED A PJ IN ATLANTA AND SPOKE TO A VERY NICE POLITE GENTLEMAN THAT APOLOGIZED FOR HER BEHAVIOR AND WENT ON TO EXPLAIN THAT THEY HAVE A NEW SYSTEM NOW AND IT REQUIRES THEM TO ENTER THAT INFORMATION. I DON'T THINK SHE KNEW THE ANSWER. I CALLED BACK AND ASKED WHO THE MANAGER WAS AND WOULDN'T YOU THIS THING WAS THE MANAGER. SHE'S SO FULL OF HERSELF. I THINK THE POSITION OF MANAGER HAS GIVEN HER THE BIG HEAD. IT'S JUST TOO BAD THAT HEAD DOESN'T HAVE THE SENSE GOD GAVE A HEAD OF LETTUCE. THE WITCH IS UNINFORMED AND RUDE. NOW ON A MORE POSITIVE NOTE, THE PIZZA YOUNG MAN THAT DELIVERED IT WAS POLITE, ARTICULATE, CLEAN AND NEAT, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ABOUT HIS BUSINESS. THE PIZZA WAS THE BOMB. HOT AND PERFECT, THE COKE WAS SO COLD I DIDN'T NEED TO PUT IT ON ICE. 100% PERFECT DELIVERY SERVICE THAT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. 100% PERFECT PIZZA THAT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS AND FOR THESE 2 REASONS, I'M A PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA. MANAGEMENT IS DUMBER THAN A BOX OF SAND
I was so impassioned by the horrible review that I had to respond. No restaurant experience is ever perfect except for at a Michelin 3 Star restaurant, and I believe at this time that there are no Georgia restaurants that have achieved that high level of service and culinary artistry. Fork in the Road exists in a price range for the rest of us. I live for a tasty lunch option that is fairly priced. I would highly recommend trying Fork in the Road because the following: 1. The menu selection is diverse 2. The wait staff can be a little slow at times, but they are always very friendly. 3. The food is always tasty and hot. 4. The portions are a great value for the money. In summary, mistakes happen. I have little respect for anyone who cannot accept the occasional mess-up that accompanies an apology. All I can say is that the previously posted unfair review has only inspired me and several of my co-workers to patronage this establishment even more.
This is a locally owned and managed restaurant and the owner knows how to cook up some delicious chicken, fish, and sauces. They've worked hard to make the physical space inviting, and they play fun Motown tunes in the background. The food is always good, and USUALLY the service is too. However, I've been there when someone was yelling loudly at the staff from the kitchen, and other times we've have had to wait a long time to be waited on. They try hard but sometimes fall a wee bit short of professionalism. But overall, I love the place and hope they will succeed and be around to serve this neighborhood for a long time. If you happen to hit them on a bad night, give them another shot and they might win you back. Tips: The steamed broccoli is absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of the chili. The salmon and the chicken tenders are awesome. At least 20 different sauces to try. I've tried them all and they are all good.
