AVOID this business! We were promised a brief "2 second" chat in an office prior to a "free" scan. It turned into a 45 minute hard sales pitch by a salesman in scrubs who admits he has NO medical training. The pitch was total scare tactics and baloney and the contract they want you to sign for thousands of dollars (an amount which the salesman bragged is changed based on how much he FEELS like a client can pay) apparently does not include an extra yearly fee for "reading" each subsequent scan. And the whole "Trust Dale Cardwell" endorsement was hammered at us repeatedly. Well, if that's the kind of business practice Dale Cardwell trusts, we will avoid any other company he EVER promotes! Just like the salesman, I am not a medical professional and don't know if the scan we eventually received is even worth the disc it's burned into, but after that heavy-handed pitch and dubious song and dance, I don't trust Virtual Imaging or their scan. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!!!

I'm glad I decided to have a full body scan. The results gave me justification for my GP for meds I currently need. Also, there were other problems I had no knowledge of going on that need attention. I have an appointment with my GP scheduled to show him the findings, so I can see the specialists needed to help me become healthier.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with the staff, the full body scan and the technology was fascinating, look forward to another, you both are healthy scan next year. Thanks

My opinion and experience

Bought a groupon for a heart scan from this "business" turned out to be one of the worst days of my life! The 2 hour presentation started off with medical information and then turned into a high pressure sales pitch trying to get us to sign a 10 year contract to get our body scanned every year--with RADIATION!!! Stupidly they talked us into getting an adbominal CT scan for my husband, from my memory the sales lady said that it was less radiation than a chest x ray--turns out it was something like 300x one chest x ray! Stay Away!! I am contacting a Ga senator about my experience- if you have had a bad experience please contact me at Longfinancial1@aol.com

Buyer Beware! This company is ...

Buyer Beware! This company is a total scam - they DEMAND that your spouse attend whether they are getting scanned or not - that's worse than a used-car sales pitch! It's bad enough that you have to endure the scan and the pitch yourself, then they want to try and sell a $500 scan to your spouse OR they refuse to scan you without your spouse - ridiculous. Do NOT waste your time or money.

Editorial review from Citysearch

We went for my husband. He has chest pain and a family history of heart issues. He is in good shape and passes all the stress tests... but the pain continues so we wanted to get it checked. We decided to join the program since he'd probably need follow up scans over the next several years. Turns out that he does have heart issues and seeing it on film is prompting him to make life changes. Also, we discovered that I have a splenic artery aneurysm. This can be life threatening. Knowing this has increased my chances of survival should it erupt. I'm keeping tabs on whether it is growing by having follow up ultrasounds. Hopefully, it is stable and I can keep my spleen. If it bursts, at least we can direct the emergency surgeons to where the problem is and they can move quickly to save my life. We're glad we had the body scans.

We heeded the advice of Neal Boortz, particularly regarding the sudden loss of his Radio partner without warning and decided we had better make sure we checked clean

My Wife and I came to Life Test because of a Commercial on WSB radio to get a Free Heart scan.. When we got there we were a little afraid of what the Presentation would be like...but we were pleasantly surprised by our Counselor Annie, she was very informative and We defiantly saw the Need for Life Scans services!! after having the Heart Scan it was nice to actually get the results almost instantly (the Radiologist still has to read it) but we were able to see how much calcium build uo I had in

We heard about the scan listening to Neal Boortz on the radio. He said that the test/scan would help discover medical problems with the heart well before symptoms so we decided to have the scans done. The staff was friendly and informed. We arrived at our appointed time. The scans were to take about 1 1/2, but It took over 2 hours to process us. We have not gotten the results yet.

One of the best staff I've ever seen in a doctor's office. They were considerate and made the experience a breeze. And the price is affordable. Horray for Life Test Atlanta.

Staff was very informative , I am glad that my husband and I decided to go. We found out that my husband has heart disease. If it was not for this test we would have never known. We recommend that everyone does this. This will save my husbands life.

I was very pleased. The staff was friendly and accomodating. There was a problem due to a power outage, and I had to return the next day for my scan. It was done quickly and professionally, and I had the results before I left the facility.

my wife was a little afraid, but the staff made her feel comfortable enough to procede w/ the scan. I feel this is a needed and valuable tool for preventive care.

Our experience at Life test of Atlanta was excellent. Everyone there was pleasant, very good at explaining the process as they went, and the test itself was fast and easy. We received our results within a few days. They were easy to read and undrestand. We would highly recomment Life Test of Atlanta to anyone!!!

This was a very enjoyable visit as well as informed. Connie, the lady doing the testing, was very personable and made you feel at ease. The Receptionists greeted us with a warm smile and were very hospitable.

The full body scan I had at LifeTest was exceptionally helpful. I learned that I have no reason to be concerned about coronary disease, but did discover that a slight plaque build-up in one artery needs to be monitored. The staff was exceptionally courteous and professional, explaining every aspect of the process and carefully reviewing the results with me. This is a great way to truly have peace of mind about the ""state of your

Stay away from this place!!

Don't go to this rip-off joint! My husband and I made an appointment for a heart scan during their free promotion, knowing that we would have to sit through about an hour-long sales presentation. We arrived on time and courteously sat for the entire presentation for their program that cost $4995. After we told the sales woman we wanted to ""think about it"" she brought in the ""head honcho"" director who proceeded with a hard-sell, lowering the price by $2000! After we nicely said no, he put us out in the waiting room for over an hour! When we kindly asked about our heart scan, he said paying customers were ahead of us and we would have to wait!! By then, we were there over 3 hours, so we told him we were leaving and were very dissatisfied with their professionalism. This place is only interested in swindling you!! We will go to a legitimate place like Piedmont Hospital to have our scans. This place is NOT legitimate!! Stay away and save your time and money.
