My husband and I went to Uncle Wong's last night for dinner and were incredibly pleased, even 'wowed' with our dishes. We started with steamed dumplings that came out quickly and had a quality pork mixture in the center. We split two entrees for dinner- the Hong Kong noodles with tenderloin and the spicy bawang putih with shrimp. The Hong Kong noodles had a pleasant crisp, but soaked up the rich and flavorful sauce that accompanied it. The vegetables in the dish were obviously fresh and retained a bit of a crunch to them. The shrimp dish was sweet, spicy, and the shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I am still kind of embarrassed that we all but licked the plates clean! We grabbed a to-go menu when we left just to ponder what dishes we might get next time! A quick favorite!
Place has a huge menu, and the food is great. Serves some standard fair plus some regional stuff that I like. Their fried noodles are fantastic and don't have that greasy taste that you get at a lot of places. The people are good and the prices are good. Place lacks that "authentic" chinese feel but the food totally makes up for it.

These guys used to be pretty darn good a long time ago. But if you look at the reviews and the dates you will see that they have just fallen flat on their face. DO NOT order from their web site, (dont even eat there actually). We had a room full of people working on a saturday and placed an order online for a late lunch, their web site said they were open and they accepted our order and charged my card. 2 hours later we were starving and had to send someone out for drive through!!! No calls, no emails, no apologies, no answer on the phone, no food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They have come and gone and it is just a matter of time till this place closes down. They will not get another order from me, EVER. There are just too many better places nearby.

We ordered takeout on a Sunday night and were told it would be delivered in 30-50 minutes. 75 minutes later I called back to check on our order and was told that they were out of one of the items and they had lost the first three digits of my phone number do couldn't call. I requested that they just bring the other items quickly (as we were way past starving). Thirty minutes later the food arrived. They driver wanted to take an imprint of my credit card - despite already having the number on the sales slip. We ordered four items - one was missing, the second had pan-fired noodles that were cold and half burnt, the third item was dumplings that probably were steamed when we first placed the order as they were cold and the pastry was engorged (think of a tick in August on a large dog) and the last contained mushrooms although it was ordered without them and the order-taker confirmed that. The ""best they could do"" was charge us ""only half"" of what the bill was. Save your money - if you get a flyer for Uncle Wong's in in your mailbox recycle it, use it to line a litter box or bird cage - but keep it well away from your phone.\r
They deliver to our home, 11 miles away, and treat us like family. They ask about my baby girl and dog all the time, and the food is just outstanding. I've never had any issues with them - only exceptional service!

I have ordered from this establishment several times. I find the food to be fresh and tasty. I would recommend it. The Spa cuisine is nice and light.

My boyfriend and I love Thai food and decided to give Uncle Wong's a try. Sadly, the entire experience was a disappointment. Being the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday night, we expected better service. Our server, however, seemed to have no interest in taking care of us. The lettuce in the Num Tok dish was brown and the shrimp (in our Spicy Basil with Shrimp dish) had veins and tasted extremely fishy. We also ordered Green Curry with Chicken which was also very disappointing - the dish had no flavor. \r \r We do not plan to visit Uncle ""Wrong's"" again.

Good food, Not amazing, but good. Nice ambiance. Not too expensive. I wouldn't travel across town for it, but its a great neighborhood spot. I've actually never seen it crowded.

Saw the good reviews. However, place was not nearly full on weekend night. Tried some thai and chinese dishes. Both were good but not fantastic. Had coconut soup, was average. This place is neither cheap or terrific but it is decent enough for an asian meal if in the neighborhood. The asian ""train"" across the street provides much more of an interesting experience, however.

I went to Uncle Wong's for an early dinner this past weekend and experienced the worst service. Let me say the food was tasty but the waiter was horrible! He sulked when my companion as for a clean glass of water, because the one he brought her had lipstick on it. Needless to say it wasn't hers. When we ask if items could be prepared that wasn't on the menu, he replied with a sigh and said "" No, whats in front of you is what you can order"" Did I mention his burgundy uniform shirt was dirty and to top of our experience, he forgot that we placed an order of shrimp fried rice. This was poor service overall, but to forget our order and we were the only customers in the building at the time was unexcusable.

Rating was high and so we went there. Oh, we were disappointed by both the food and the service. It was expensive and not enjoyable. I made it a point to leave my rating so as people will not be misled.

I ordered food and asked if they deliver to my house, gave an address, and they said yes. So 45 MINUTES later, the delivery guy is lost and I have to give them directions. Then, he says, we cant deliver to you, you live to far away. Nice. 10:30 on Sunday night. Were the hell am I supposed to get food now? How about you invest in MAPQUEST BEFORE you send your delivery guy out???

They have the best General Tsu's chicken. The service is friendly and the menu is extensive.

We have been dining at Uncle Wong's for the past year - the food and service have been absolutely superb. We have nothing but superlatives on this great restaurant. The meals are sumptuous...a culinary delight. We have recommended Uncle Wong's to all of our friends...who have had similar accolades after dining.

I personally have never had a bad meal at Uncle Wong's. Everything I have ordered tasted great, and the service is always excellent. As a college student, the prices for individual plates are well priced and it's a great place to go with a group of people. Most people that I have taken feel it is one of the best chinese restaurants in Atlanta.

Uncle Wongs is the best combination of cuisine, ambience, service, and price. This is not your typical Chinese Restaurant. The entrees are unique. Every order has the appearance that it was specifically made for your enjoyment.

When the waiter recommended the Rack of Lamb as an entree, I've wonder (in a Chinese restaurant?). He said it was very flavorful. Fifteen minutes later, my dinner arrived. I've stared into it for a moment and my jaws drop without a sound. It was gorgeous. The presentation was exquisite like the kind you find in top fine restaurants. Five pieces of lamb leaning against a nicely peeled whole orange sitting on top of a glistened yellowish basil sauce (just enough to give it texture) with spinkles of crispy fried shredded ginger. The taste was undescribely delicious. Great recommendation. I'll be back!
