Let's see where do I start... I know, I'll start off by saying dinning at Stir it Up was one of the worst dinning experience of my life. The service was absolutely HORRIBLE and the food was not that great!!! We arrived with an expectation of having a lovely outing with family and friends but it turned to be an utter disaster. Our party consist of seven and when we arrived they were unable to accommodate us inside. So, we sat outside for approximate 20 minutes before we took matters into our hands by going inside and requesting service. 8 minutes later the waitress arrived and took our drink order along with entrees. I don't know where the confusion came into play but I regret now asking the waitress to see if it's possible to sit inside. Because, another 15 minutes pass and still no drinks, water, utensils, or even communicating the seating status. So, once again we took matters into our hands by going back inside to inquire of our drinks. The waitress said she will be right out, however, still was a no show. That should have been our sign to leave. But, we all decided that it would be just as bad somewhere else since it was Saturday night and besides we were hungry!
By now it's been 50 minutes and still no drinks! Fortunately for us--(we thought), inside a party of four was leaving and allowed a table to be free. We then made the decision to go inside and sit at any of the available tables. Hoping, now that we're sitting directly in their eyesight we would expected some sort of service. But, that didn't work because when it was all said and done we didn't get our drinks until 9:00 o'clock that evening. Oh, by the way--did I tell you that we actually arrived at 7:45 pm for diner? So, let's do the math. From the time we sat down outside to the time we actually receive our drinks it was 1 hour and 55 minutes. Yet, we still did not have NO water, food nor utensils. At this point in time, the evening was completely ruined and everyone was disgruntle! We all just sat around and complained about the poor service. So much so that I decided to ask for the owner and/or manager.
Would you believe when I ask for a manager or the owner that's when we finally got some sort of service! When I say service, that meant we actually got escorted to a nicer location of the restaurant, but still no Manager--no Owner--no Water--no Food--no Apology!!! When the food actually arrived, with the exception of one individual, the food was not good. To be specific, two of the dishes (oxtail & curry goat) had more bones than actual meat... and the complaint goes on and on. Which also includes an upset stomach later that night and continued the following day!
Last but not least, right before the check arrived FINALLY one of the owners came out to apologize. But, unfortunately it was fill with more excuses about the service and delays in the kitchen rather than listening to our complaints. With that said, we paid for the meals and vowed never to return!!!!!!!!!!!!
